Like I said, there were more promising performances, but by no means was it “miles better”, Ipswich were very much out for a stroll tonight….. and finished the game off fairly quickly when they had to. The fact we’re two leagues below them is what is getting me. TWO leagues below Ipswich ****ing town.

Meh, some good performances, collectively better, but didn’t think Ipswich were in full flow, and they won fairly convincingly in the end. Page needs to start, Bristric looked a bit better…. Positives, but I can’t help but not see past Martin, and know he will shit his pants V Plymouth.

3 competitive games in, and it’s clear there’s been no reset. It’s the same problems and issues dressed in different clothing. The wrong manager has been hired, to just satisfy an already rotten culture that’s festering in the club. 3 games in and it’s clear relegation is far more likely than promotion. At league one level, given where we were less than a year and a half ago, it is unacceptable to be losing to Notts county and Burton, even if the team wasn’t functioning I expect comfortable victories against two sides likely to be relegated. The same systematic failings have been firmly evident in the three games we’ve played, slow, disinterested, weak, no pace a complete lack of creativity, style and willingness to win. A hand full of players look up for it, but it’s an unbalanced, un-dynamic squad, with no leadership, and a manager who is already fighting for his life, and it’s clear he’s not got a grip of the squad or situation. Martin won’t win a single game whilst he is here, but the danger is the boardroom have all but lost interest, so significant efforts to progress the club will not happen whilst it’s up for sale, they can’t afford to run it anymore and administration will move ever closer the worse we are doing. This is the worst state this football club has ever been in, and because it’s through sheer negligence and incompetence and not just a natural football cycle, it makes it even more dangerous than it’s ever been before. There’s no room for positivity, I tried and it quickly became apparent that this season will just be like the last, nothing will change until Top has ****ed off, because the same mistakes are being made by the same people who put us in this scenario. As @Ric Flair every weekend will be worse than the last.

I do agree with him to some extent. I don’t think boycotting will out prospective buyers off, they probably won’t even know it’s happening unless they’re locally based or really bothered about international football politics. I’ve given my season ticket up after 29 years, because I simply can’t watch my club be effortlessly given away, and I refuse to invest into King power. Every fan is entitled to behave as they wish and think as they wish. If those still want to go then fair play, those who don’t equally fair play. But I do share the opinion that large boycotts send powerful messages.

The reason why I personally can’t see anything improving, and the only thing that will stop this team getting relegated is relying on teams worse than us, and we’ve just dropped points against the pundits picks to go down……. Nothing will change until there’s a wholesale culture change, the rotten culture is still festering and isn’t going until Top has gone, that much is a fact. It’s a harrowing time to be a Leicester fan, it really is the future is genuinely uncertain, those claiming that thinking this is an over exaggeration are unfortunately in denial in my opinion. Unless there’s a mentality change over the next few weeks, and we switch to thinking pre like the Leicester that won the championship and beyond, we’re ****ed….. well and truly ****ed…. Because as we are now, we are getting relegated, this whole franchise is on a downwards trajectory, thanks to misalignment, misguided leadership, lack of conviction from the board room and a lack of acceptance of where we are any why. We came down just assuming we would walk the league, with a completely arrogant and lazy approach to pre season, that is now becoming clear has again been another wasted summer period. To save this season, Martin has to go now, and they have to seek a manager with the same mantra, aura and footballing philosophy as Nigel Pearson… why, because this is the only way this club can begin to recover.
