  1. But at least we get a free beer!
  2. He’s always been considered one of the best of his age group….. he has just overcome a massive injury, and is performing regularly in senior football….. what exactly is your issue?
  3. Give your head a wobble! Top won the premier league, the FA cup and gives us free beer and cake! #vivakingpower!
  4. Do us all a favour Ruud, and just shut up and **** off.
  5. We did push the boat out yes, but we also financially gained along with it, no club of our size has ever managed to see close to half a billion £ come through the club…… clubs who should feel fortunate are the likes of Wigan, who’s FA cup exploits were a momentous achievement for a small modest club. What we did was establish ourselves as a top club, and were dining at the table with the big boys. We’re not paying the price for trying to be ambitious, we’re paying the price because we failed to take advantage of the situation we were in, decided to move away from the model that generated that success, and made a string of fatal errors that has lead to the greatest demise in premier league history. The fact we’ve generated close to £600m and can’t even comply with PSR is remarkable….. The football league is a rancid league, the standard of football is horrendous and it looks very much like we’re on the verge of being sucked into the black hole of the EFL pyramid. I’d take sitting mid table in the PL for eternity over watching up play in this horrific league. We had a chance to become a powerhouse, and we needlessly frittered it away.
  6. Let’s also not forget Brighton are shit. They were ****ing dreadful in that game, and they’re supposed to be on the periphery of Europe??? Honestly, football is disgusting at the moment……
  7. They do, which is why the fact they rate him is a crumb of comfort. Alves is one of the best players within his age group in this county, like Bilal for us, he’s offered Cardiff fans some enjoyment in what has been a dreadful season. He by no means the finished article, but he’s well ahead of the likes of KDH at his age, and now has had men’s football exposure for a good amount of time. If he can stay injury free, he will be a star.
  8. Everyone is well aware of what has unfolded in the last decade. But the point some really fail to grasp, is that this decline is not normal, nor should it be accepted as a “little indiscretion”. I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to bang the drum. If you won £200m on the lottery, and in ten years threw it away, no one would have such a relaxed view. The salient points are…. We have seen close to £600m pass through the club, yet we have been relegated (set to be) twice. In three years, whilst teams like Brentford and Fulham, who’ve achieved nothing, are striding ahead of us. There isn’t a positive slant you can put onto this situation, it’s slapstick comedy. We’re an embarrassment.
  9. Oh yay, another pointless thread rambling about nothing. Give your head a wobble.
  10. Go and ask what the Cardiff fans think.
  11. It’s the lads first taste of consistent senior football, what are some fans expecting? He’s a quality player, and will be valuable to us next season.
  12. Queen Victoria is better than Vestergaard, so this is an absurd statement.
  13. The fact they’ve not spoken to him yet xx would suggest he’s gone. After we lose to Southampton and Ipswich he will probably be shot anyway.
  14. We wouldn’t have no. However, Pearson’s ideology on how a club should be set up meant when Ranieri came in, all he had to do was coach. He didn’t need to worry about transfers, recovery, sorts science etc. so he was the perfect tonic to a team with the right balance of talent, desire and work ethic. It was a one hit wonder, everything perfectly aligned, everyone pulled in the same direction and we rode on the crest of the wave of momentum. Vichai purchasing the club enabled this, absolutely. King Power undoubtedly took the club to a new level. But, successes are there to be commented, and mistakes are there to be questioned…. I don’t think any Leicester fan genuinely thinks Ill of Top, it must be difficult to recover from the tragic loss of his father, and we’ve got to accept his emotional connection with the club is going to be different now, than it was when his father was here. So for me there no coincidence that the club has declined in his father absence. It is my opinion that Kun Vichai was very good at recovering from mistakes, and dare I say, John Rudkin probably wouldn’t be here if he was still with us. King Power have lost control of the club, and this can’t be argued, strings of poor decisions have ultimately led to the most spectacular demise in modern football history, and that history tells us to bring it back around in this current regime will be very difficult. I have said it many times, in my opinion Top either needs to restructure his top office and bring in better footballing brains, or he needs to accept the club needs to be sold, to someone who can carry it forward. All good things come to an end eventually, and this may well be the end for King Power and Leicester city.
  15. He does summarise it well. Hits the main points!
  16. Liverpool could not bother turning up and still win.
  17. I don’t care if the stadium is full of Liverpool fans. King Power need to be embarrassed, reputation is everything to them, and the only way the message gets through…… otherwise this ship will continue on its voyage to the iceberg.
  18. I do somewhat disagree. The gap is considerable, but the quality of the league is shite, Brighton are dreadful, yet a comfortable mid table premier league team. As I’ve said my opinion is that football as a whole is currently on its arse, largely thanks to Pep and his boring football ideology. Modern footballers are collectively technically better, and much better athletes, but they’re all the same, with no real stand out individuals. Players like Monga if he was to join Man City would just become another product of the Pep passing machine…… My point being, it’s poor recruitment that’s shafting some teams. Bournemouth, Fulham and Brentford have all managed to come up and build stable sides, I don’t think any of them are actually that good, they’re average compared to seasons gone before, but they’ve recruited fairly well and have built decent young squads that have matured together. Our recruitment has been disgustingly bad this season, and we’ve spent about £80m….. on shit like Ayew, BDR and ****ing Edouard…… Ipswich have been clever and have built a team that if it goes down, will piss the championship and come back up, similar to Bournemouth and Fulham recently. Southampton have also recruited poorly…. Forest on the other hand have done a bit of a **** you and spent what they wanted, got a slap on the wrist and carried on. We could have spent £80m much better than we have, we’ve pissed away the KDH money and built a team weaker than the one we came up with. It’s this that will be our undoing, continual poor recruitment. It will be interesting to see how this develops next season. You either recruit cleverly, and future plan, or you over spend, build a squad capable of surviving and accept a nominal punishment. There are ways around it, but it’s down to who’s prepared to take the risks.
  19. This club never ceases to amaze me…….. have they got someone inside the club doing PR and community engagement just taking the piss? “Anyone have any ideas how we get the fans back inside”? ”Yes, let’s do a signing session over Easter, the kids love that” ”Who shall we use, Hermensen? Bilal”? ”How about Jordan Ayew and Bobby Reid? The fans give both huge cheers when they get substituted”? ”Brilliant idea! Shall we send John Rudkin too? He gets a lot of attention on match day”? …….
  20. April the 1st has gone mate!
  21. We will be gone before then is Wolves win?
  22. I can see Braybrooke leaving. Where does he fit? From what I’ve seen of his this season in the academy, he hasn’t stood out. He’s looked fairly ordinary to be honest. Can he operate at championship level? I doubt it, you want either Winks or a Winks replacement, which he doesn’t fit, because I don’t think at this moment he’s got the physicality in his game. The one thing Guy said that I agree with, is when your moments gone, it can often be gone….. I fear with Braybrooke that his time has unfortunately gone, and he needs to move on the kick start his career at league one level perhaps. Rather than hang around our academy and not progress.
  23. Especially when Jordan comes across as far more articulate than Guy did…..
  24. Another thing is his comment about the standard of the PL…. Being another level? This is definitely the worst PL since its inception…… so called top clubs standards falling well below what they usually set, and mediocre clubs over performing with largely average squads….. He lives with his head in the clouds a bit there, like someone said, 6”4 McAteer? That was a bit like Martin Allen saying Ngotty won the World Cup for France…..
