You’re not wrong. It highlights our complete lack of quality in defence, but the attack was a mixture of plain unlucky and then some wayward finishing….. we could have had three goals at least. It’s frustrating, and I think what makes it worse is that Wolves result, which was a managerial **** up in my opinion. Had we won that it would have eased the burden somewhat. But, I think survival goes to whoever has the best window….. we’ve got to get it right, and that might include one or two gambles like Ferguson for example……

Which is why we will be looking at players who need a second chance maybe……

His performance yesterday highlights how clueless Cooper was, and the lack of control he had over the team. He was reserved with his press and maintained a position for the game, rather than try to take the world on by himself!

Yes, and it wasn’t a free pass for **** sake. They weren’t rattled, they’re not at their best at the moment but they’re still a good team. We made a mistake for he first goal, and the second was just Haarland being Haarland. They’ve not lost to anyone in and around us, so this suggestion they’re easy pickings is silly. It certainly wasn’t a missed opportunity at all, on another day, a couple of those chances go in and it’s a different game. There’s plenty of positives to take from that performance today…..

Nah, I don’t accept that. Man City haven’t lost to anyone around us bar United. They’ve lost to teams who have the ability to hurt them, and obviously we don’t at the moment. They’re still a good side with a lot of quality, and they would beat anyone around us (Everton for a draw obviously), but it isn’t a Gimmie just because they’re having some difficulties. It’s given me some hope today.

Wolves will come back into it, they’ve been gifted the points over the last few games and will hopefully lose Cunha and that will hurt them.

They’re massively benefiting from the sheer lack of quality in the league this season. Theres only one excellent team, in Liverpool, then a cluster of average teams, and then the bottom 8 who are below average. Forest are a well organised team and are well coached, they’ve got some solid players and are consistent in their performances. If you can do that when joined else can strike any consistency you’ll do alright!

I felt that was our best performance of the season, especially for the first hour. Saw an actual plan, some lovely patters of play and we troubled them a lot. I don’t accept this talk about them being out of form, they not lost to anyone in the bottom 8 I don’t think. They beat us with one mistake, and then one bit of quality. I was happy with the performance today, it’s given me hope, with some good business in January, it could vastly improve us, I don’t think we’re too far away from about there. The most infuriating aspect of the game is Wolves, that ****ing game….. it’s killed us, and wolves have been gifted three basket case teams to gain some momentum against. Still, it’s not over, we’ve shown in the last two there’s something there, I’m a damn site more positive now than I was before the game, just still furious about that Wolves game.
