  1. A footballer.
  2. It will be because Stolarczyk is back. There’s no need to rush him back early for the sake of losing him for a full season. We rush him back and he gets a season ending injury, we would be in a mess.
  3. He needs a chance to play, of Luke Thomas was able to be thrown in, the. Alves is good enough.
  4. Start Joseph over Justin, can’t be any worse.
  5. We don’t stand a chance, and they will thrash us quite comfortably. They’ve been losing games to teams who can expose their weaknesses…. We’ve no one who can trouble Walker, we won’t be able to contain Foden, and there’s no way a 37 year old Vardy will give Akanji anything to think about. Plus Haarland won’t have much to do to better that defence. We are the perfect tonic for their recent troubles. We’ve not been playing with any intensity recently, and that’s what they’ve been struggling with, dealing with teams who get into their face and make life difficult for them. 0-6.
  6. Skipp can’t play football, so no point playing him.
  7. You’re not wrong, which is why I’ll be keeping hold of mine for ever…. Once you get a guitar like that you take it to your grave. It is nice, anything from that era! There’s not a major difference other than Gibson had some wood supply issues in recent years (hence the reported financial problems), so there was a period where the guitars wood wasn’t being sourced in their usual ways. But there’s not much in it to be fair. Epiphones are decent guitars, like the Mexican or Indonesian strats the base of the guitar is there, but it probably needs a bit of tinkering to get it to a good standard….. this chap below, loads guitars with good hardware, in terms of solid bodies guitars, if you’ve got good hardware in it, it will sound great, no matter the wood or the model. If you were to get an affordable LP copy and loaded it with some high end pickups, it would sound amazing! As this shows (Gibson studio loaded with Fishmans Modern Fluence) great set of pickups!
  8. This is my dream guitar, not many around for a good price, but in terms of a mellow tone, it can’t be beaten in my opinion.
  9. Ben is better IMO.
  10. Absolutely agree! Gibson prices jump all over the place, the standards have always been around the £1400 mark, then if you go for a custom shop, you’re looking at clearing £2000 comfortably. But I do feel they should be upping their game when it comes to finishing their guitars at the entry level when they’re still over a grand! I’ve got a 2004 Mexican Strat, and it remains my preferred guitar (it’s modded with new pickups and hardware), but even as a basic guitar it was an all round decent guitar. The LP is a fantastic guitar, but needs a little bit of TLC, you need to build the LP to your taste, and you’re not wrong, they’re heavy guitars!!!
  11. I’ve got a 2004 Gibson LP standard. It’s trans amber as well which is quite cool because they’re mainly either Garry Moore or Slash signature models. It entirely depends what you want from the guitar, with a LP standard you’ve got a solid bodied mahogany guitar, but what would say is it’s worth changing some of the hardware, I changed my tuning pegs because the LP of that era was notorious for dropping out of tune easily. I also replaced the nut and the bridge for better quality ones. Which seems a bit daft considering the price of the guitar. But the epiphone versions aren’t bad at all, plus if you’re not bothered about what’s written on the headstock, you can get a second hand Epiphone LP, and upgrade the hardware. What kind of style would you mainly play on it?
  12. If Ruud has a winger earmarked for us to sign, then I’d take this. Buonanotte is great but Evan would most certainly assist us more I think. Given a good run in a team he will score goals. Brighton are foolish to let him go in my opinion, very foolish.
  13. Thanks for that, Hathern is ideal for me!
  14. I fancy us at Villa. 0-1 shithouse win.
  15. Why are we in the premier league then if we’re not premier league quality? It’s a stupid phrase that needs to stop. We lack some depth and quality.
  16. You’re being facetious….. Southampton are comfortably the worst. We aren’t the worst, we’re missing key players and are having to have a transition mid season…… Ruud has made one major mistake since coming and that was starting Ward. We lost to wolves because of Ward. Simple.
  17. Does anyone know of a good and trusted luthier on the area? My Les Paul desperately needs a set up, but it’s had a poor setup recently and is delicate, so I need someone with a sound track record and will likely do a good job!
  18. I think if we were to create a stage production of our failed transfer business, it would cause more upset than Tristan and Isolde did…….. “From Nicky Maynard to Adam Hlozek, a story of tragic incompetence”
  19. It’s not a case of putting more money in, it’s a case of being better at running the club. Brighton, and Brentford are shining examples of how to run a football club, and I’ll add Bournemouth to that list too. As a franchise, none are bigger than us, yet here we are, we are an absolute mess…. But it’s hardly surprising, Rudkin isn’t a DOF, he’s an academy coach, and Top is allowing him and Susan to run amok causing havoc. The fact that we have the likes of Ward and Hamza at the club collecting a sizeable wage is criminal. The business decisions being made at this football club are the stuff of amateurs. It’s embarrassing that we’ve gone from ambitions of creating one of the most impressive home grounds in the country, to having Edouard on loan, and Ayew a key player. I would love to have the opportunity to have Top and his minstrels sat in front of an audience so we can ask them, what the **** they’ve done.
  20. Just to round this festive period off, Ipswich will beat Arsenal tonight.
  21. I would be stunned if we didn’t end up with Banzuzi

  23. This is definitely the most important January. Considering what could await us if we get relegated. Anyway, it’s important for every team, the league is the pits and if one of us that make up the arse hole of the league can mangle a few good signings combined with some form will be the ones to stay up. Hopefully Ruud’s influence can help us bring some good hungry players in.
  24. The league is in such a poor state this season, that a half decent window could definitely see you right. There’s only one team in the title race, Chelsea and Arsenal are too inconsistent, and after that it’s a bunch of fairly ordinary sides battling it out against one another…. But the same applies to every team in terms of transfers….. I don’t think there’s a massive amount Wolves can do, Ipswich will no doubt go for it as they’re within reach, unsure of what Everton can do, and Palace will have to be careful as they’ve spaffed a load on Nketia. It will boil down to who can do the best business, and hit form.
  25. To get when says they got 21 points, but half of that was administration. I think they will definitely try to push the limits of what they can dish out. It’s why we really have no choice but to stay up.
