I agree, and given our potential PSR issues, it’s likely we might sell on January if the right price comes in.

He’s genuine mustard.

No point over analysing the game, in terms of what kind of win you want after 48 hours with a new coach is that….. we know the defence needs sorting, but Ruud simply hasn’t had the time yet to really make significant changes… what we did see was a snippet of what he is trying to do, and he managed to get the lads going to take their chances. Overall, really pleased with the reaction, and am looking forward to what he can do.

What about the ten years he spent crafting his coaching skills? -
Plus there’s been a huge fire on Burnmoor….. so that will add to the issues potentially!

Let’s not forget that the teams around us are just as if not worse than we are……. If he can strike a chord with them and get some kind of organisation and at least a basic plan, we will have more than enough to stay up. -
I don’t totally agree with this… Coady, appeared a good signing last season, he just never established himself and has since just never been able to get into the side. Cannon is a young lad who showed some promise but for whatever reason wasn’t fancied by either manager. And Skipp has barely played, when he first started he looked decent, since then he’s had a hand full of minutes……. Fulham wanted BDCR to stay on so he must have something about him? All of those signings made sense to me at the time, every signing is a gamble, and even some that appear to be good may not work out…….

This forum is madness 😂 we’re all a bunch of overly hormonal nutters……. The bloke probably hasn’t even had a shit yet at Seagrave, let alone put his entire backroom staff together in a few days 😂 -
State of the squad and rest of the season, an opinion.

When we beat West Ham, I’m going to be so revoltingly over the top about how good we are ya’ll feel sick. -

It’s silly thinking…. Most of the coaching team were removed, and his deputy remained….. this group need someone to guide them, and lead them….. they’re not going to get that until a new manager properly gets hands on them……… expecting them to suddenly spring to life when he’s gone is just going to end in the explosion of panic that we’ve seen tonight. I still think eventually Ruud will have us playing better football than Cooper did. -

So folks are losing their heads because the caretakers was unsurprisingly shit, after taking over from his equally as shit head coach, with a team that’s currently on its arse…. -

He can laugh all he wants, he’s responsible for ripping the arse out of this squad. -
It was a hideous team selection that got what it deserved…… put together by a clueless moron!

It can look like that at the moment, but it really isn’t that bad. Justin, Faes, Coady and Vesty have all proven that can perform at this level before, at one point Ndidi was considered one of the leagues better CDM’s…. And he’s decided to leave out a host of the what you would on paper consider better players. If Ruud can get the lads on side and and just get the basics right get then it allows some of those better qualities to come through, as Enzo proved. We will just have to wait and see……. -

Things we don’t….. Theres still enough in this squad to do well. When you’re in poor form it’s never going to look good. We’ve actually looked good at times this season, it’s only seriously wavered in the last few weeks, which coincided with Coopers exit…. This team lacks any organisation, tactical structure or decent coaching. If Ruud can deliver those three things, we will be fine. A fair few teams in this league man for man, aren’t actually that good, but they’re well drilled and well organised which will always get you results. -

Just calm down for a moment. The team was lost under Cooper, so they’re not going to suddenly come to life under his deputy are they? They looked like a team in desperate need of a lift, discipline, organisation, leadership and good coaching. They can’t be judged on today, Brentford are a decent time at home, but when you’re leaderless you’ll be lambs to the slaughter. Just forget this and move on, no point kicking off about it.- 326 replies

Largely to be expected. Dawson is a product of cooper, so he probably wasn’t in the best place to take the team. The selection was shit, and the performance clueless. No point getting over the top about this, we need to see how they react to Ruud and his philosophy. The teams on its see and needs a lift. -
