Rodgers tenure will go down as the most bizarre in our history. In all honesty, his early success was down to the squad he inherited, it was a strong team on paper, and this made his job easier. With regards to the man himself, he is his own worst enemy. It’s clear he’s all about Rodgers, he’s got no time for anyone else, he wants to run the club his way or no way, this is something he must have picked up whilst working with Jose. There must be something in him, because he’s had some success with domestic trophies with his respective clubs, but there’s another side to him….. he’s like Senator Palpatine, appears to be all nice in the public eye, but behind the scenes he’s devising evil plans to eventually ruin football clubs. What’s different with Rodgers and Toylor is Taylor was just plain incompetent and out of his depth, Rodgers turned his back on the club because he didn’t get what he wanted, downed tools and sabotaged the team out of spite, and I think that’s the gods honest truth. I think his decline started after the FA cup, where he thought that was his ticket to a bigger job, when that didn’t come he wanted more control, when he got that but with restrictions he wasn’t happy and played the woe is me card and then just drove the club into the ground. I despise the bloke, I’ll never acknowledge his achievements because of what he did here. In my eyes, our worst ever manager.

it’s hardly a surprise to see Forest’s name up there. Their owner is a maniac and they were spending money like it was going out of fashion. They can’t punish Everton and then let Forest off, they breached and that is that, if anything it looks even worse, they had a chance to sell Johnson within the window, and chose not to, so they’ve only got themselves to blame. So absolutely punish them. They cant not, how is it fair that we curb our spending, and end up going down, and they spend like someone on a come down from acid with the munchies in McDonalds and get away with it. Light the match and watch them burn!

I get you, you’re correct. No point loaning players, like you say it’s the sales we need to offset the spending. Would be ideal if we could sell someone like Thomas, home grown player off the books!

It’s about FFP, not about the transfer kitty as such. The squad is over inflated with wages that go far beyond that of a championship side. We’ve got to be careful because if we fail to get promoted, there’s potentially a whole world of pain around the corner, so we’ve got to be sensible in the market.

Take every point off them. Watch them burn! Everton won’t ever get relegated. They could be deducted 100 points and still stay up.

Mads Faes Vesty JJ Ricardo Winks Macateer Casadei KDH Mavididi Cannon. I’d still play JJ over Doyle, because I think he’s just an all round better player than Doyle. Macateer starts now for me, hopefully he can find his form again, he’s more of a goal threat than Fatawu, I like his direct running and he will keep their full back occupied. Despite all of the doom mongering thats going on, and the fact one defeat means that naturally the everything is crumbling before our eyes….. I fancy us to properly turn these over and go on a run that will seal our promotion and the league.

If we do want to sign someone, we’re just going to have to offer some of our players to the interested parties. What we can’t have are bids coming in on deadline day leaving us no time to move in the market.

I do fancy us to get one loan in. But there’s no chance we get rid of who we want in this window. Still think this squad is good enough to ease its way out of the league. The weekend was a freak incident of our own making.

This entire post is completely reactionary to yesterdays result, as are 90%of the posts over the last 24 hours. How has one defeat, in slightly controversial circumstances undermined our entire season? It hasn’t. Firstly, Casadei will only get better starting week in week out, recently he’s been good, and I don’t think he was bad yesterday, he along with his colleagues just had a bad day at the office. We don’t have 0 midfield if KDH gets injured, he has been rested you know? And we have won games when he hasn’t played? There are players capable of stepping up if needed. We’re not heavily reliant on Mavadidi at all, he along with KDH, N’didi, Casadei, Yunus, Fatawu, Kacey and Albrighton have all contributed this season, Mavididi is currently enjoying a purple patch….. Good for them, neither are as far ahead as us so have to…. We won’t, we’re still a considerable amount of points clear, and still have lots of favourable games coming up. Some of our fans just self implode sometimes, yesterday was a freak, 11v11 we beat them, we still have the best squad in the league and that will still be the case even if we don’t sign anyone over the coming weeks.

I’m going to stick up for Enzo. I don’t think he got anything wrong yesterday, we lost because of the red card…….. Playing a whole half with ten men and as @Bert rightly said, it was basically Cov’s cup final. It’s always going to be a tough. I don’t think taking Cannon and Mavididi off was a bad call, going down to ten means you’re potentially asking both to put more in, either of those get injured as a result we’re fuched. For me, take off players you want to protect and try and see the game out, which is what we did, but unfortunately we’re a weird side when it comes to defending, we don’t concede a lot (and I think that’s down to dominating possession), but we do concede poor goals. As soon as we went down to ten men, I think the game was potentially lost because we’re still a bit soft at times, Coventry got the rub of the green and the decisions after the penalty. At the end of the day, it comes down to the red card, that screwed us. Lessons will be learned and I back is to go on a long run now to seal promotion.

I wouldn’t be bothered if we missed out in all honesty. Still think we will ease it even with no further signings.

He’s reckless, he’s made a fair few challenges which have been poor. It was only a few weeks ago where he made a horrific challenge and should have seen red. It was coming, the blokes a lose cannon, he’s got massive potential, but he’s got this recklessness about him. He needs to learn, because he’s going to get us in a lot of trouble with VAR if he remains and we go up.

Just to paint a picture… a lad I work with is a Cov fan sent me a caption with the following “one thing that’s guaranteed is Leicester get battered everywhere they go”…… You're getting worked up over a team whose fans can’t even grasp reality. Shocker from Fatawu, shocker from the ref and Enzo clearly just wanted try and see the game out…. I think it’s a lose, lose situation…… he makes attacking changes and we get turned over, we will moan, he tries to shut up shop and we lose, people moan. Ultimately, Fatawu’s red card ****ed us, and that’s that. Bad day at the office, and we will still piss the league.

The overreaction on here is daft, I thought I was bad after a loss but this is something else. Why are people commenting about next season? They only won because we went down to ten men. Abdul cost us today, it was a stupid challenge and gave the ref a decision to make. The ref had a stinker and Palmer should have also been sent off.
