Hi Whmy .Forest Hill finally with new owners and bit of a smash and grab last week -its so isolated up there that there is time to do a bit of damage and clear out even with the alarms and cameras,My daughter works up there and they are always wary of new faces poking around.

Not sure I ever saw Tom Lawrence make a tackle and Martin Henderson never actually headed the ball he would just run under it. John Sjoberg was not a big guy no more than 5/10 but when you are 8 years old he looked fearsome. Interesting point in there about the physical contact . Tradiitions are there around hockey ,cricket,badminton that point to different races being more suited to their more popular sports. I can recall playing mens hockey in a fairly robust way and the Asian lads weren't too happy but also back then some of the predominately Asian local football teams got a reputation for being very aggressive. For me it all works better with a back four with backs who do not go mental more selective about their runs forward.Then we can handle it with the one DM .As Saturday mendy can come on and do a job to tighten things up at the right time . Chilwell and Maguire didn't look comfortable with their more restrained positions but it should work

I'm pretty sure Fibert fox could get better results than of late if he listened to the players and communicated and motivated. Some of the points made on MOTD were very good players on serious money making little effort.Sitting in the west stand I was looking forward when Maguire had the ball a hundred times and not much happening further up because of the slow tempo in our play.Play fast instinctive football and the results and enjoyment will come.

This is going back a page but Fuchs probably put in more quality ball Tuesday than Chilwell does in 3 games .A good pass is much better than running with the ball. Chilwell is no way the best left back/wing back England have . Should make a very good living though. Hamza likewise a future ahead of him in football but a few sliding tackles to get the crowd going doesn't make him a great player.He was decent defensively but had a solid back 4 behind him but its about getting down the other end which is exactly what Mr Kante was so very good it .Good luck to him keep working hard and we will see in a couple of years.

Steady on-looked good in some very defensive situations very good in fact some really clean tackling but its down the other end we need some work.

Lads for weeks we have been messing around passing sideways at zero mph very few chances and today we saw some solid urgent football that we know we have the players to implement.Could be a decent season after a average start

Don't get me wrong not complaining but there was only 3/4 times we messed about with the ball across the back much more urgency and direct today .Lets hope it keeps going and we could be 5/6/7 which is I'm sure what we are capable of this year

Most of that was not Puel football it was Lesta football from somewhere.maybe the payers themselves. He reigned us in a bit 2nd half but good work from .all .Just a point we aint missing Harry to much are we solid group of four centre halves and sitting midfield and then Chilly and Ricardo can get on their bikes . Carves,he'll and choosing . Iborra,s English is very good .Where did he learn ? England ! Wider point we are 10th and unlikely to do any better loosing to the top group,picking up points from the dross at the bottom and scrapping with the likes of Brighton,Everton etc.Already folks going down the line of 'mid table and a cup run after recent events' would be a good season. If we play this way we will need a striker to make something out of the numerous crosses or that's our season sorted.
