Aimed for 10 miles today but to avoid the heat I set off before 8am. Absolutely drained me and I cried off at 8.5 miles. What's worse - running in boiling heat or pounding rain?

Contrary to some, I don't think Trump himself is that enamoured with far right fascist ideals as some of those he's surrounded by. He is a complete buffoon but I suspect a deadly cocktail of stupidity, gullibility, bruised ego over 2020 and a general nastiness have led him to seek support from the worst kind of people, as others abandoned him.

League One fairly tasty at the mo. I've some links to it via Lincoln City and Stockport - both having been residences. Actually saw Lincoln win at Wembley. I work with Charlton, a bit, too. Personally would prefer Stockport to sneak automatic and see Wrexham languish in playoffs, scrape it and then get tonked in championship.

Inclined to agree with you. We can all laugh about it but I think it falls into 2 camps of those who attempt to speak a local language on holiday and those who don't.

Final few weeks marathon training. Not entirely following the suggested mileage as my knees are starting to feel it, but sticking to the big runs. 14 miles on (mostly) flat, allowed some space to absolutely gun it. Achieved a 25 min 5k within. Proper made up.

At least it's not pity!

Yeah that's a lovely gesture from the owner but could he be less involved in corruption? Actually, can most owners do that as well please?

He has absolutely annihilated what reputation he had. It's not a Dean Smith situation where he's come in with about 6 games and told to do what he can. He's had half a season to implement changes, systems and ideas. The first couple of games now look like absolute flukes.

That tone really is not a good one and not in the "it's sad but I know it's the right thing" way.
