  1. He's probably the most dislikable person involved in football. Well I can't readily think of anyone worse. Maybe Joey Barton.
  2. I think the spirit of what he said was it'll be interesting to see how he gets on. It wasn't like he was saying we have signed a star.
  3. He will be out for another 4/6 weeks with a back strain soon so plenty of time for social media then.
  4. Tim vickery who for me is the most knowledgeable, cerebral man in football, also with a specialism on Brazil living there, said when we signed him, his problem has been in his career you need 2 balls for tete, one for him and one for everyone else.
  5. I think he will go to Newcastle.
  6. Football is like any other business. You pay enough and someone is likely to move.
  7. I don't rate Southgate. What's he's very good at is man management of English players. He's got that right. And I think.that and favorable draws has seen the success. I actually think Brendo would be a good replacement. In terms of Madders it was obvious that bar injury and suspension crisis of epic proportion he was not playing. Even if he was fit I didnt see him getting on.
  8. He probably plays in the 3rd / 4th place match
  9. Your right. Can see him only getting minutes when nothing to play for. Unless lots of absentees.
  10. There was a moment with scamacca whose like 6 ft 5 where I think he was trying to pin Faes, but you can see Wout was too strong . I think he'd have dealt with Antonio too.
  11. I think he should have played more and when he first came in he played and we did well. I think kdh should be rotated more but I can see why he hasn't . It's life. Mendy has been in a similar situation. But there's been less cover for him so he's got a bit more action also for me not enough as choudhary and ndidi have often been preferred over the years. We just have to.accept that having a quality squad like the big boys may mean that players who are actually decent and if played regularly would be even better aren't going to ever get that chance. Not with trying to get consistency, blood youngsters etc. They are there for when you get injury issues.
  12. I'd rather we play Praet but will never happen.
  13. I hope I'm wrong but I can't see James being picked. He's had no involvement for a very long time. He's not been 'coached'. There's not enough time to integrate him. It would just be like having a wild card. And i don't think Southgate wants that sort of character in the squad. Maybe if he was an out and out goalscorer like a young Rooney or Walcott I think . They got picked all those years ago. But not as another Midfielder who needs to fit in a system. I also don't think our relativey lowly position and lack of European football has not helped his cause. Perversely his best chances are Southgate gets sacked after the wc or he moves to a major club as a starter. He's like the Le Tissier of today.
  14. When you listen to him being interviewed he's a bright guy that's for sure. He's going to be captain.
  15. Newcastle a likely choice. They have unlimited money and aren't packed with stars so he will be a key player.
  16. He seems to have eased some of the pressure on him by the recent results and clean sheets to the point where I could see him keeping his job (not being replaced during world cup) but lose today and I can see it being untenable again.
  17. He does look like a joke. But tbh no one is preventing Christie from shooting from there. The shot was actually surprisingly bad so Ward may have put him off. Waes looks worse for not blocking it.
  18. Thank you very much . Got it
  19. Can't seem to find it
  20. Does anyone know how I can listen to radio leicester full time. Thank you
  21. I'm a bit brighter on relegation. After Monday, I kind of think this team are good enough to stay up , hopefully borne out by another clear win against Bournemouth, fingers crossed. And if Rodgers doesn't turn it around someone else will. Most likely someone solid with an initial short term remit. Rafa and Dyche are thr obvious names. The board won't be that stupid to wait for 10 games to go...
  22. There's Bob Hope and No Hope...we aren't going on a winning run with Rodgers. We might fluke a win against a rubbish team. But nothing more. Like all the other crap teams can on their day. That's why we need a new manager. Otherwise we are down.
  23. I think you are right, but not in the head.
  24. Yes if we start playing well and results pick up, I couldn't give a fuc* about his likeability. Pep seems a pretty unpleasant guy.
  25. CURRENT Rodgers is a shockingly bad manager by anyone's metric. So he's gonna get pilloried on a fan forum. What will be interesting is if he wins a game or two.
