  1. Covid seasons, flukes whatever.. end of day we haven't played well for 1.5 years.
  2. Obviously not wanting us to go down, but if we remain this way in the run in , and that ends Rodgers I'd be pleased with the outcome. He's not the man for us, and can see him one or two more jobs away from never working again proper in football like a Mark Hughes or Allardyce etc. He is simply not up to it. Maybe he's good at putting on training drills or something.
  3. It does feel like we have reached a major cross road. He has been given dough. According to Transfer markt website £110m over last 2 seasons. The way we have lost our way throughout his reign for long periods worries. If it was my money I'd be nervous about investing further in him. My hope is their's a good replacement out there , and there's a good lawyer who can exit us from Rodger's reign without a massive pay off.
  4. Views on ndidi are somewhat rose tinted. He was brilliant in the Rodgers purple patch at the start of his reign. It looked like he had managed to make him into one of the worlds best dmcs. There were a few players really over performing for instance soyuncu, Justin, I forget now. That was a long time ago now. He seems to have reverted to what he was prior to this purple patch, a monster at ball retention, decent in the air but not very good at passing , composure and general awareness.
  5. I think you are right. I can't see us getting through over 2 legs for those reasons. Mourinho, tactics, pressure, set pieces all that shit where we can't cope. Whatever 11 we have out. Unless Vardy is back.
  6. He needs some options and movement in front of him no!?
  7. We haven't been very good with Ndidi's physicality this season. They are both decent and we should totate
  8. The the midfield looked well balance last season when he came in and we got some good wins . Think it was praet and youri then but can't be sure.
  9. It'll be Norwich Watford and someone. Who that is I'm not sure! If we carry on like we have been it'll be close run for sure.
  10. Would Randers be superior to Forest?
  11. It's silly to think this will be anything but a convincing loss. Whu are a well oiled machine under moyes. I don't think we will go down even if we keep Rodgers , but if we do, there's clearly going to be many bad days at the office to come .
  12. Rodgers out. He can't use the injury excuse or afcon so now he's going for motivation or physicality , a bizarre explanation for a top level football manager (reminds me of Sunday league tactics, 'get stuck in etc.'). He's the fukking manager. Motivate them man, you horrible toad.
  13. I don't think he will be sacked. But I'd like him gone. He's certainly not the manager his press hype him to be. I think there's been too many failures and excuses made and we won't progress with him. The compensation £10/£15m isn't much more than an average Premier league signing - ie Vestergard, that is if it as much as we think it is.

  15. He Has! Winning pen vs Soton in carabao
  16. We have been poor for a long time, and for a large part of last season too, which was a freak one with covid which may have contributed to the relative success we had. In my view Brendan isn't good enough and I can't see us developing under him, possibly going further backwards.I remember his streaky Swansea team, his Liverpool days, and also Celtic fans warnings on this forum when he came. It's time for a change. No one knows how these contracts are paid up, but even if it is as bad as paying the total amount left, its not a particularly great sum as far as what is wasted in football goes.
  17. Irritating that he couldn't get Gray firing either. Looks like he's just scored a goal of the season contender and has become a talisman at Everton. His renaissance coming at a bad time for Bodgers.
  18. I'd prefer him to rodgers . He's a busted flush.
  19. I used to love that Liverpool midfield of mascherano who was a monster in his prime I don't I've seen better ball retention, alonso spraying passes and Gerrard as a box to box dynamo
  20. No but we can pay them to take him
  21. Nor do I. They'd be mad too. I was responding to the comment.
  22. Then just resign
  23. I think you are right . I'd rather pay big money to get a number of other managers. Moyes will have unfinished business for instance.
  24. He'd be taking a big chance!
