If it takes a bunch of younger fans to create an atmsophere and they prefer the ultra style then that's fine with me, the other option is no atmosphere, because these traditional fans are either not going anymore or not willing to do anything.

If the atmosphere in england was like it was that night, they'd be no need for change. Problem is they are rare occurrences, and most english grounds have little to no atmopshere. For me there's room for both inside english grounds. If fans were willing to make an atmosphere in the traditionally 'english' sense then great, but theres a new generation of fans influenced by our european neighbours who have never experienced a traditional english atmosphere because it died out before they ever went to a match. That's why in Ireland and in Scotland the younger fans want the colour, and constant noise of the ultra style support. Without it their stadiums would be devoid of atmopshere just like ours.

They genuinely don't seem to care or have little control over the ultra groups, one side passes blame, and they can pretty much do whatever they like.
