These gimmick fights seem to be more and more common, but loads of people are willing to fork out to see them, so i guess they'll keep happening. I'd imagine Eubank will win...if anyone is that bothered though?

Brillaint for Ben, pleased for him.

It will be interesting to see how ben copes with losing that frame, my fear is selby will push on an win comfortably.
-
I can't stand watching selby, I know he's a leicester lad and everything, but of all the players I didn't want woollaston to play it was selby.

I think the size of club we are and the wages we pay could attract the likes of dyche.

Even at small clubs in scotland they get this. Hamilton Accies director and steward subjected to violent attack with BOTTLES as fans break into boardroom at half time | The Sun Not that I codone any kind of violence in anyway I don't, but its just another indication the differences between english fans and everyone else.

we could sink to non league and vast majority of our fanbase would defend rudkin and the owners,

I think it shows how awful spurs and man utd are.

Wrexham owners standing and singing with fans at blackpool.

Wrexham 'the wheels have come off' AFC now have promotion in their own hands. Wrexham have Charlton at home next, massive game given Charlton still can get 2nd. Technically wrexham, Wycombe, Charlton & Stockport all can still be promoted automatically. -

4 out the bottom 5 won, the other (cardiff) drew, and as it stands all 4 in the playoffs will lose. weird. -
Ashby beat Gresley, which meant that if Kimberley won and sleaford got a point Gresley would be relegated. Kimberley won, sleaford were 2-0 up.....ended up losing 3-2 and were relegated, saving Gresley. Crazy to see Gresleys fall from grace, back in the 90's it was only their ground that stopped them winning promotion to the Football conference (national league) which was step 1, if they had been relegated today they would've played at step 6.

Yep, not just football either, so much of the public here are so easily brainwashed. We have a unique set of supporters in england, this could never happen in any other country. It's been coordinated since 1992, it's worked perfectly. The authorities have exactly what they've always wanted. Packed stadiums. High prices. Passive customers. And we have new generations who don't know any different, and are more likely to follow suit. Able to laugh at the crazy foreign fans that might visit every now again and convince themselves that they are only behaving like that because it's 'their cup final;' to play English teams. I've said it a million times it won't ever change, because how could it? Save yourself some money. Go to non league for your football fix and nip over to France or Italy or Germany, or practically anywhere if you want to experience real football culture.
