Actually ridiculous that he can assault an opposing staff member and just keep playing and scoring crucial goals for them
-
Genuinely think he is the worst keeper we have ever had, I'd take some of the crap we had in the late 00s over Ward in a heartbeat Can't stand him and there is absolutely no excuse for him to ever step on a pitch for us again, disgrace to let him besmirch the shirt at this point
-
Wrote him off early on but he has improved a lot and looks a really solid signing now
-
Was a colossus today, great performance

Genuine competition winner standard, one of the worst cameo performances I've ever seen -
Interesting, thought he would be on the bench at least in that case but good news he isn't, cheers!
-
weird ones, Thomas has been good for Wigan from what I have see, injury? Richards got his first goal last game and then gets dropped
-
So we spent 18 mil to make the Fatawu deal permanent after he showed an incredible amount of potential, then his development is stalled because he barely gets a sniff and is stuck behind a man whose greatest skill is getting fouled

If Cooper lets the team turn up in the 1st minute as opposed to the 46th then the league is in trouble -

Leicester right hand side, where defending is optional -
To be fair, he could be Ronaldinho in training and Cooper would still play the old boys instead, nothing he has done has indicated he has any desire to give any youngsters a chance
-
genuinely forgot he was playing and I even complained about the fact he was playing before the game
-
2 golden opportunities to start Alves wasted now Don't worry, we get the excitement of watching Decordova ****ing Reid instead
-
Genuinely ridiculous that this clown doesn't think to play Fatawu against a defence made up of liabilities like Young and Keane
-
dreadful, how can a manager set a team up with no intent of attacking but also be completely inept at defending
-
sliced open by a geriatric ashley young, embarrassing
-
Another masterclass, giving him a 3 year deal and then within a matter of weeks he can't even make the squad anymore

2-2 Palace, A Post Match Thread

Was half expecting him to bring Ward on and go with 2 keepers at the end -
Ayew doing an inside job here?
-
Yeah I'm done with him, was willing to give him a bit of a chance but the awful pre season followed by these woeful team selections each week are killing me, how can you even get up for the game knowing you are about to watch a midfield 3 of Winks, Skipp and Ndidi, only reason I won't be fast asleep by half time will be the sheer volume of chances we will give up to them
-
This is genuinely pathetic, we have basically one player on the pitch with the slightest bit of creativity in Mavididi, it's ****ing Palace we are playing, not prime Barca

Looking a bit adventurous, hopefully get Vestergaard on for Fatawu to shore things up a bit -
How the players fit in a game against the level of opposition we will only ever face in early rounds of the cup isn't hugely beneficial though. The entire identity of the team and how we set up all season will be entirely different to tonight, we are going to be the weaker side, chasing the game, conceding possession and having to defend resolutely in pretty much every single game we play. It's like getting some revision in for your Maths A Level and just focusing on your times tables. Are you technically doing something productive? Yes. Is it actually going to have any impact on your success? not really.
-
What exactly have we learnt? It's not like anything we try/do today will actually be relevant when playing against players and teams of a significantly higher standard. If a cup game against a League 2 side is pivotal in Cooper figuring out his senior squad after a full pre season and 2 league games then we are in some serious trouble

I have not said at any point I am not enjoying the win. I am pointing out that a routine win in a game where anything but a routine win would be a disaster isn't a positive achievement. It is literally just the bare minimum. I enjoy not getting shit on by a bird during my walk to work each day but it doesn't mean I am fist pumping the successful journey.
