  1. Forest seem to not understand that teams often play with a hangover after they win something. It's been so long they wouldn't know themselves to be fair.
  2. On a selfish level, Stockport just because it's a closer away day for me. For the vibes, probably Wycombe. Really impressed with their progression as a club in the past decade, and feel for their fans as their one season in the Championship (20-21) was played behind closed doors. Can't be arsed with more London games, even if Leyton Orient are another good news story in recent years.
  3. West Ham are garbage. They're going to be in trouble next season if Potter sticks around.
  4. Ricardo was an appalling keeper, perfect embodiment of the excess of the Sven era Ward is the worst for overall damage to the club though. Ricardo was as bad, but wasn't a leading cause for not one but two relegations. Kasper is the best we've ever had. There might actually have been an early argument for Mads if his performances under Cooper had made it beyond his injury and continued to drag us towards safety, but he's been a shadow of himself sadly.
  5. Can't believe we won el Shatico
  6. Scenes when Golding gets 30 seconds and some weirdos use it as proof he 'promtes the yoof'
  7. Even those of us who tried to delude ourselves at the time soon accepted reality. Think it was Wolves at home for me where I realised 'wow, there's no helping this squad ' and gave up on the team and season. Deep down I think a lot of the team know it themselves, save for a few self-important brainlets like Faes and Soumare. It's just a board-level issue of continuing to stick fingers in their ears and pretend it's not happening.
  8. go and get the buddhist monks
  9. can she play at centre back?
  10. We three teams of Championship are All f**kin useless, cannon fodd-ar Saints and the tractors, just couldn't match us Four months without a goal Ohhh Game of wonder, lookin' tight? Faes, Soumare, f**kin shite One ball through and here we go 1-0 down from our own throw
  11. wE dOnT cARE AbOUt lEsTuh
  12. I'm going to be honest, the thought of the worst Spurs side in living memory actually winning something at long last while the circle jerk over Forest's 'best season in 30 years' results in absolutely nothing of note would be hilarious.
  13. All those spawny single-goal wins are going to come back to bite them on the arse if it comes down to GD
  14. I'm done with the season as a whole... but
  15. Let the bees see the bumcrack
  16. If Brentford win tonight i will put a bee up my bum in celebration
  17. I'm reminded of Brighton's response to such advances from our own fans - 'you're too ugly to be gay'.
  18. Been floated around a few times on here, but might be time for a serious discussion around a breakaway fan's club if nothing changes at KPFC? I guess the rise of standalone alternatives like Harborough and Coalville slightly lessens the urgency, but there must surely be a core of a few thousand LCFC fans now that would gladly follow a team in the mould of an FC United of Manchester or AFC Liverpool, at the expense of the morons currently sat at Filbert Way.
  19. The absolute state of some of the 'club-made' displays in the UCL this season, particularly Arsenal's (lol) and Aston Villa's, makes me all the more appreciative of the work UFS do for ours. You just know if Forest get in their Garibaldi muppets will have one shipped in from Temu as usual and pretend it's the best thing ever. That Sevilla one will never be topped for me. Rest easy, Shakey. ❤️
  20. I mentioned in the non-league thread that I'd attended a game at Marine AFC the other week. Woke up this morning to an email sent out from the Chairman to everyone who went to a game this season. It's obviously a completely different level so there are different priorities, but I feel more valued after showing up to one match than I have done at any point in the last 8 or so years as a Leicester fan. The continued silence from our owner and board continue to be deafening.
  21. We've basically got 2 Ipswich-type momentum fiends with more cash coming up - alongside our fellow relegate-ees - all being tipped as potential automatics challengers. If we don't get things right this summer, we're in deep shit, because automatics will be out of the question. And that's before you consider the likes of Sheff Utd. may still be in the division. We won't know until a ball is kicked how we'll cope, of course, just like last time when we got the late win against Cov and never looked back. Wrexham and Brum may turn out to be crap at this level. Southampton and / or Ipswich may struggle even more than us. But to me, this division looks harder to get out of than it did last time, even taking the decline of our squad quality out of the equation. All we really had to push us last time was Leeds and Ipswich, and we still barely scraped the title by one point. This time there could be 4 or 5 other teams there or there abouts. Personally, right now I'd bite your hand off for the top 6, given the parlous state of our squad and amateurs in the boardroom. Time will tell.
