At no stage during the game did i have an ounce of belief we would get anything out of the game. Even after we equalised out of nowhere, I was absolutely certain we would find a way to spunk our lines and lose. Relegation fodder.

Leicester v Villa Match Thread 31/8/2024

Thank christ thereās no BDCR. Zero creativity in midfield Okoli must be in for the threat in behind that Villa pose. This whole Ricardo nonsense is starting to get on my t*ts. Cooper will be criticised heavily if this line-up backfires. -
There was no mention of an option or obligation to make the loan permanent from what I saw.

Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

Incredibly underwhelming player to watch. I mean he runs around but iāve never seen him make a tackle and I swear he loses every 50/50 heās in. Surly have to start Stephy or even Ayew/Kasey lout there. May seem a rash judgement, but I really donāt rate him at all. -
1-2 Fulham, A Post Match Thread

disappointing result today it felt like a game we could nick something out off. Their second goal was incredibly poor from our point of view. unforgivable at this level. We have no natural number 10 or 9 to come off of the bench so once Vardy and Facundo went off it was square pegs in round holes again. 3 more years of Bobby Reid God, help us The mystery surrounding Ricky P goes on. The only positive I can think of is Skipp looked half decent when he came on and we looked mildly threatening from set pieces & we have a new chant that will annoyingly stay in my head for the next 2 years -
Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread

Thought we gave them too much respect in the first half - (but it worked in a way keeping us in the game) The bollocks on us in the second half were huge. Feels like a great point for us and should give the boys belief. -
Thought he was outstanding tonight. Definitely won his battle against Johnson. Also played a big part in the goal. Could be a big season for him.

Just ready for the club to tweet this on Tuesday after being stuffed 3-0 at home by Spurs. āAyew excited foxes fans š š¦ā Iāll be rattled beyond belief.

Incredible trolling by admin is this in fact has zero connection with Zaha.

Hope youāre right mate š¤š¤

I think Coopers appointment has one eye on next season. Donāt get me wrong iād love us to stay up, but the reality there is a very strong possibility (especially with a pts deduction) that we will be down before the Christmas lights. So if we were to find ourselves in the champ next season. Cooper is more than qualified to get us back up. Then again another part of me thinks Cooper will get binned off in October.

Not overly excited about this one. But beggars canāt be choosers and beggars we are. (and the deal structure is very kind to us) Burst onto the scene at 16 at sparta prague - got a big move to Leverkusen and hasnāt really progressed from what iāve seen. (happy to be proved wrong) Pretty sure he came off the bench a few times for Czech Republic at the euros. Then again if it keeps Daka off the pitch - Bring him in.

Looks like a proper player with real pedigree. The type of morale boosting signing us fans, Cooper and the players desperately need⦠Which pretty much confirms we wonāt get it over the line

So, Players for the Championship rebuild, who do you want?

Big fan of the POSH boys Poku and Edwards. Darragh Macanthony - Posh chairman does a podcast and raves about Ronnie Edwards and Poku a lot. Granted his opinion may be biased - but I would happily see both in leicester shirt. -
In possession of the football the blokes a Disaster. To his credit he gives it 110% and will put himself about. Im not surprised Watford arenāt seemingly bothered about making his move permanent. We should try our absolute best to offload him but as we offered him a year extension last year (another blunder by the club IMO) we may be stuck with him. In that case he could serve a purpose as a squad player as his off the ball attributes can be useful, that said he should be nowhere near the starting 11 if we are serious about going up.

The option just gives us protection if it doesnāt work out whilst giving us the security to purchase at an agreed fee if things go as we all hope. - as we know the prem is a different beast other European leagues That said iāll take positivity in your optimism about him being a successš¤

prefer the āoptionā as oppose to the āobligationā if the lad turns out to be pony or heaven forbid we go down - donāt really want to be footing the bill. In the same breath the option protects us in all scenarios

Being reported as a 6 month loan deal for tete? if so i hope we have provisions in place such as an option to buy at a pre-agreed fee.

Recruitment strategy under the spotlightĀ

BR was very clear towards the end of last season that the issue we have at set pieces is more a personnel and profile of player issue as oppose to a tactical one. All the more reason to have expected transfer activity off of what BR has said. At this point iām almost certain half the drivel BR comes out with is purely about deflection and self preservation and should be taken with a bucket of salt piss on your back and tell you itās raining kinda thing -
Under £10m! what is this 2014 IMO £17.5m is a very modest figure in todays climate
-
He played all but 1 game at CB in a back 4 at the AFCON 2017 and was a stand out - Official Team of the tournament. @25 is still relatively young especially for a CB so I wouldnāt write him off just yet On a separate note Fofana looks like a genuine world class talent and it would be a shame if we missed out on the opportunity to sign him.

Assuming Wes is fit Iād go 5212 - GK Schmeichel RWB Albrighton RCB Justin CB Morgan LCB Soyuncu LWB Castagne CM NāDidi CM Tielemans CAM Perez / Barnes ST Iheanacho ST Vardy

Heās better than Hamza - IMO Hamza is a liability at this level in possession. I feel much more comfortable with Praet or Mendy in there far more capable on the ball. Hamza is at his best out of possession but would still have Dennis and Papy comfortably above him.
