I don't think you will ever find another series like the X files, it was a complete one one off. You had a genius show runner, paired with two brilliant actors who had an unrivalled on-screen chemistry who were fed with writers with enough ideas to keep us going for a hundred years. Just buy the box set and keep watching it over and over again.

Agreed, just like Ndidi, one of the attributes of a combative defensive midfielder is to instinctively seek out a bit of contact in a tussle. They are both very good at getting a foot in and coming out with the ball but if they are doing this more and more in the box they're going to give pens away. I've been thinking about that game and although it was magnificent at the time I think it's hurt us in the longer term. If we had lost that I'm certain Root was gone as captain and we would have had to start the rebuild at that point. All it achieved (other than the brilliant memories) was to paper over the cracks that frankly have been here for a few years now.
