The assumption being made is that Danny Rohl is our target, who is stuck in the middle of a saga at Sheffield Wednesday and is trying to get out of his contract. At present, it would take a £1m payment to buy him out of that contract. So now that it's July 1st, and we're in a new financial year, Leicester City are now able to authorise that payment and put it on the books. The reason that this assumption is being made is because it is the only reasonable explanation as to why we've been waiting so long to make any moves. This of course, is being hopeful that there isn't an unreasonable explanation to the long wait, which would be that the people in charge and incompetent, and have only just started to look.
