  1. Only for 2 months more.
  2. I agree, which is why I wouldn't be calling for the head of Brian Barry-Murphy either.
  3. And then we sack RvN?
  4. Now you mention it, me too...
  5. I always assumed that we got him in for this purpose anyway...
  6. If I'm a top flight club, looking at his numbers in the last year, I'm not spending £21m on "potential". He looks flashy, sure, and there's a lot to be excited by, but he's not proven that he's worth that kind of money based on his output.
  7. He's only really had that tendency in recent months, while still dealing with his injury problems. I wouldn't call that a consistent trait of his.
  8. Getting fuched by Russell Martin on a weekly basis? I think we're all going to be getting that wish granted over the next year...
  9. Nope, they joke about both in the Lineker interview.
  10. Date of sacking: October 20th 2026 Position when sacked: 16th Points: 8 Last game in charge and result: Everton (H) 0-2
  11. It was well rumoured at the time, but that doesn't make it known fact. Everything posted above disagrees heavily with your take here, especially the post claiming that he had to leave early to catch a flight, which was why he wasn't on the pitch. The man was literally left traumatised after being literally dragged away from the helicopter wreckage he tried to enter. He dreamt of being a one club player like his dad and spent 11 years at the club he chose to do that with, with a Premier League trophy and an FA Cup to reward him for that loyalty. He has made it clear that he was not happy about having to leave, and all signs pointing to the fact that it wasn't his choice to leave. Questioning the man's loyalty after everything he's done for this club is beyond disrespectful. He was a genuinely world class keeper, who decided to spend over a decade of his life to Leicester City.
  12. He's looked pretty good for his age, but can we not compare him to Messi, Ronaldo or even Bellingham yet? That's extraordinary expectations for the kid...
  13. I have severe doubts that any club will want Bilal for the amount we'll be asking for him. 2 goals and 3 assists are not good stats for a player with over 2000 minutes in the Premier League, he's only one year into his contract and we overvalue players as it is. So Bilal as starter, Monga as rotation, with Alves as backup for the wings and the 10 feels pretty good.
  14. "But if he were any good, why would he be part of Leicester City's Academy?!" seems to be the mindset at play.
  15. The problem being that we do not have a set of pacey wingers available. If we were capable of playing Mavididi and Fatawu either side of our striker, with El Khannouss or Buonanotte behind, with another pacey winger on the bench that can come on, then I'd agree. Instead we have Ayew and Decordova-Reid, who's advantage is that they are apparently good at defensive hold up play, despite our defensive record being worse when they play, and we still score no goals. In the current system, those two can come on for the wingbacks or the second striker, so they have use on the bench as subs, while we can tighten up the defense and play on the counter. Having fullbacks like Thomas in CB allows the wingbacks to move forward and be fluid on the counter, while letting Thomas move into his natural position. It also helps keep Coady and Vestergaard from being on the pitch at the same time...
  16. For anyone thinking Dyche is the answer, compare Everton now, to them in the first half of the season. I know Moyes is a decent manager, but it's absolutely night and day what he's been doing with the same squad of players who were comparable to ours not so long ago. It's a damning condemnation on Dyche's ability as a manager.
  17. Time to get Gordan Ramsey in to call Ayew a donkey.
  18. I kind of assumed that was the point of the Murphy appointment, as succession planning. With his experience, he's ready to manage a Championship side.
  19. Can we be Rudkinless?
  20. The van in general was great. The only grievances was to a couple of the chosen slides.
  21. That's both TNT and Sky Sports bringing attention to John Rudkin now, and partially agreeing with the fans. That's interesting.
  22. I mean, I'm against the more personal attacks on the van, but I'm not pretending that I don't find them funny. They are. My arguments against are about the reaction in the media, other club's fans, and most importantly, the club. If there's even the slightest whiff of bullying is in the air, and right now, it is, the club board are far more likely to rally behind Rudkin, which is the exact opposite of what we want. The chants are fine, pointing out perceived errors is fine, saying Rudkin Out is fine, because all of that is targeted at his role at the club, and that we're unsatisfied with his performance in the role. The moment any comment is made about him as a person is the moment that it becomes unnecessarily personal, and undermines the entire protest.
  23. OK, only ones I don't think are productive are the valentines one, the clown one and the tracksuit one. The rest are all great.
