Is it just me, or does he remind anyone of a shorter Iheanacho? He seems to have that chaotic energy where it feels like even he doesn't know what he's about to do next, which seems to be confusing the defenders. He looks quite fun to watch.

I can't say I'm excited by the player, I know nothing about him. It's the profile. In the setup we have, we really don't need anyone special as a striker, just a big, strong target man who can get on the end of lots of crosses.

None of them are expected to. At present, they're all in backup roles. That's precisely why a replacement for BEK is still needed if he leaves, as good as Page is looking.

Agreed. The only players we need in, imo, is a Striker (desperately), and a proper defensive minded CM (admittedly unlikely, they come at a premium). If BEK leaves, then another CAM to replace him would be required. But other than that, our academy has filled a lot of gaps, which is good. That's what the academy is there for.

Those academy players are being used in first team games and they're training with the first team squad. If it walks like a duck ect. You have to count them as well, as the entire point is about keeping the numbers training with the manager down. So Monga, Page and Aluko all definitely count. If the others are training with them and potentially in contention for game time, then they count as well. If the ones you mentioned are training, and then there's Silko Thomas too. Then that's 30. We need to get more players out.

A threadbare squad? We still currently have a first team squad of over 30 players. Marti has said that he likes to work with around 25. That's 5 still to go before we can think about adding to the numbers.

I don't know if I've fell for a made up rumour or not, but isn't he out with a broken jaw? I could be wrong, but as that isn't anything that would effect his playing ability, he'd still be able to pass a medical, right?

Of course she would. That's her job. To raise Bilal's profile and increase general interest. And she's done an amazing job of that. I was chatting with a Spurs fan last week, who knew of Bilal only because he'd been linked with them. I spoke to a Newcastle fan a few days back who said similar. Fans of every club he's been linked with now know his name when they didn't before.
