I’d rather this forum coach the club by committee than Russell fecking Martin.

This is the worst realistic appointment… Therefore fully expect us to appoint him. His teams are some of the worst I’ve ever seen, turgid, sideways, boring and pointless football. He leaves teams worse than how he found them. What is the point, honestly. I’ve missed watching one game in about a decade (for my wedding) when it was possible for me to watch. This actively makes me not want to see us play.

Managed to finally beat it on hard mode (ratings hidden)

This is superb, thanks. Lost the final on pens 😭

Group B: Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Qatar, Switzerland
FoxesWalk replied to davieG's topic in World Cup 2026
Swiss will absolutely walk this group, maybe with zero goals conceded -
Data centres suck up vast amounts of energy from the grid to power racks and racks of GPUs/servers, the vast majority of that energy is dissipated as heat. Water cooling is used to cool the servers. Current estimates say that by 2030 data centres will absorb ~1,000 terawatts of electricity globally. That is roughly double the power consumption of the nation of France. AI Water use is estimated to be ~700-1,300 billion litres per year by 2030, is currently half that. Enough water to sustain a billion or so people every year. But hey, it makes funny pictures, and will only make (mostly) younger people unemployed? Can’t be that bad?

Tougher group than it looks, this. Austria are no joke under rangnick, could see them nicking the group.

Winner - England Runner up - Spain 3rd & 4th - Argentina and France Most team goals - Spain Top scorer - Kane Most red cards - Brazil Most goals conceded - Curucao Not a provided category, but notable dark horses are Norway and Portugal, could see either going very deep in the competition. I expect Germany and Brazil to disappoint their historical expectations.

Also, I’m surprised neither handball is given. Shocking that former Arsenal players Keown and Wilshire disagree… the goal would have 100% been disallowed if that handball assist had been in the box rather than near the half way line. The Saka one is 50:50 in fairness, seen them given.

I’d start out making the offside rule daylight gap between players. Less protection for goalkeepers. Make it easier and more rewarding to attack. More goals.

Can’t believe that as it stands it looks like Arteta has managed to get a PL and CL playing terroristball. They are the worst prem champions since us, and the least entertaining to watch champions ever.

Shame about the sponsor, would buy that in a heartbeat without K*ng P*wer on it

Reckon he’ll go on to have a solid career in Europe 😅 maybe back in the Austrian league

Decent squad that, imo. Only major surprise for me is Toney in there (but I like the pick, I prefer him to our other striker bar Kane). Maguire immediately vindicates Tuchel decision by him and his family crying to the media 😭🤣 Harsh on MGW maybe, but that’s about it. Agree with his general points about group chemistry and importance of having the right senior leadership figures there, I get Hendo from that perspective.

I think Maresca will do a great job at city tbh, the more you look at us and Chelsea before and after he was there, the better he looks. He certainly was able to impart his style on us very quickly and get a decent tune out of an utterly useless squad of players for the most part.

A few games into the season assuming the same decision makers are still in place

Could we go into Administration next season?
FoxesWalk replied to Lineker's Left Foot's topic in Leicester City Forum
Next season is probably unlikely, but if we stay there or go down again, and a further points deduction is definitely feasible this coming season, then it is a real possibility. I do think another relegation is a real possibility that cannot be discounted. Our squad is going to be in tatters and at best a few loans might be added by the end of the window, but many of those who end up staying we already know don’t want to be here. If they weren’t motivated enough to try in Championship, how much harder will they run for the cause in L1? Some rot will be gone, but will it be enough? I have my doubts. I certainly looks pretty unlikely that we will come straight back up. -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
FoxesWalk replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s almost like our playing environment might be part of the problem -
We arent paying release clauses for a manager and we wont be getting anyone who doesn’t play 4231 without fail 🤣

Summer 26 Transfer rumours 'X' and other Weak Links
FoxesWalk replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
If he costs any money, we won’t be signing him. -
Fair play to them

Yeah, I’m so disappointed by him, spoke very well when he first joined, liked him as a player, seemed to have the right approach arriving here based on what he said before a ball was kicked

Relegation, League 1, financial implications
FoxesWalk replied to splinterdream's topic in Leicester City Forum
Anyone been able to find odds yet on us being relegated to league 2 next season? Hoping to get in early 🤣
