  1. Vardy, Mav, and Zaha eagle flapping down the touchline of Selhurst is gonna be glorious
  2. This is absolutely top use of the loan market if it comes off
  3. Did not see this coming, could be a great move, hope he’s still at the level he was a few years ago and hasn’t dropped off by playing in an inferior league.
  4. I see Man United have avoided PSR punishment despite being in breach after PL granted them a Covid loss allowance 40 (forty) times larger than the likes of Everton were granted… nothing to see here. https://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/manchester-united-psr-exception-explained-to-upset-everton-and-nottingham-forest-fans
  5. Nice to hear some positivity from those who attended. I like Copper too, seems a thoroughly decent bloke. I really hope it works out for him here, but he’s really up against it as it stands through no fault of his own.
  6. Full focus on the Jordan Ayew deal, no time for this joker
  7. Him and Hamza gonna get on like a house on fire given his previous on the Gaza conflict
  8. My expectations are so low that I can’t fail to be mildly impressed, maybe. Expecting to lose heavily to pretty much every established side with the current squad. So few goals in our team, the defence is nothing to write home about, and the midfield borderline non existent. 20-30 points before the inevitable deduction wouldn’t be bad with this squad as it stands.
  9. Assuming Alves signs a new deal… isn’t he out of contract next summer?
  10. Good player; poor deal for us, especially if he blocks pathway for the likes of Alves. But this is where we are. He is good enough, cheap, and we need bodies that are good enough. Furthermore he is young, hungry and has plenty to prove. More of that please, but ideally not on loan from rivals with no options to buy…
  11. Pretty sure it’s just him writing and therefore sharing the “deal sheet” article they do at the moment, so it will be compiled info from across all of the athletic’s football reporters and this is just the headline he’s chosen for today. edit: yeah just checked he is writing it with Ornstein today
  12. Is the Athletic really a tier 3 source? I’d have them in Tier 1 probably.
  13. No. Expect he’d be a partner to Winks in double pivot rather than a #10
  14. A 6ft6 rangy CM, good defensively, decent ball carrier and can pass a bit. Ranks surprisingly well for goals for his position too, 93rd percentile for his position.
  15. I like the look of this guy, seems a good price, wages won’t be silly, lots of potential. Many boxes ticked.
  16. No, but I can see us finishing in a similar manner to Sheffield United last season
  17. Surprised he didn’t list Taylor Swift or Nazis in there to get more trending keywords in. Not even a link to his Patreon
  18. We are the back of the queue with Rennes, Porto and Girona unless we are offering silly wages. Where is Rudkin?
  19. Yep, we essentially need to become a lower mid-table team immediately to survive most likely, and sadly we look very far from that
  20. If someone can injure every senior player for every opposition team before each game, we can play their youth teams, or get a 3-0 win by default
  21. This season is just about increasing the value of Fatawu and Mads and selling them before the EFL Embargo kicks in.
  22. Got in trouble on here and keeps getting his posts deleted and has received posting bans for not revealing his source, or so he claims
  23. My opinion has moved from “maybe scrape by avoiding relegation with a points deduction” to “20th, even without a points deduction” over the last month. We are weaker than we were last season and appear to be showing no ambition whatsoever, even to prepare ourselves for next season in the championship under a transfer embargo, which we now need to do very urgently. We don’t appear to be preparing ourselves for anything other than the next friendly defeat behind a ridiculous paywall.
