  1. Got a membership so I could make my first trip over for the Dortmund game in February, an amazing 2-0 win. Just booked up to go back for the game against Stuttgart in April. Completely got the bug now and i can't recommend it highly enough, they really do look after you over there 💙🤍
  2. If/when we go down I'd have a look at Finn Azaz, 7 goals 10 assists this season for Plymouth as they got promoted from League One. I also think Scott Twine is a forward player that could get back to the form he showed at MK Dons given more of a chance.
  3. If he isn't gone this week, it's time for protests at the Chelsea game. Not just because of him, but for a whole host of reasons lately, from ticketing to stewarding to relationship with the fans. Its all gone rotten and fans should be demanding better.
  4. Some kids near me getting stuck right into the football based swearing too last night. Gave me confidence that there's hope for the future 😂
  5. Was wondering the same, I'm making a weekend of it and stopping over so will probably have a pint at Sinclair's Oyster Bar before heading towards the ground. Used to be a great pub a few years back but no idea what it's like now!
  6. Jason is a fan and has consistently pushed difficult lines of questioning which others have been too shy to do. Have we embargoed parts of press conferences before? I can't imagine Jason trying to push clickbait nonsense but may be wrong.
  7. On the evidence that I can see in his interviews, Rodgers is now acting solely out of self-preservation. His number 1 priority is his own reputation and protecting that, hence the way he is acting in the media who are enabling him to do this by not holding him to account. Whilst he peddles his own narrative that the media are happily lapping up, the reality is he has been significantly backed by the ownership for the vast majority of his time here. We are now seeing his priorities play out on the pitch with negative, fearful tactics and hesitant substitutions. It really does feel like he just wants his pay out, the players must be so devoid of confidence right now. Time to say thank you for some amazing memories, but now it's time for someone with fresh energy who wants to be here.
  8. https://football-italia.net/transfer-news-liveblog-deadline-day/ listed in here 🤷‍♂️
  9. Supposedly he's turned us down 😂
  10. At what stage do we start to think that we are deliberately targeting LWs or CAMs to play on the RW? It happens so often it has to be deliberate?
  11. Attila Szallai now linked. Assume it's nonsense though?
  12. West Ham were superb today, defended admirably and were a constant threat when they were on the ball. We were sloppy, we seemed to really miss Praet so let’s hope his injury is not too bad. 3 at the back was also questionable today...
  13. For me this is one of those transfers that I would put in the ‘elite tier of excitement’ category. Up there with the excitement of hearing that Cambiasso had signed or that we had got Tielemans back permanently. Fofana looks like he has huge potential, I’m sure he will make mistakes along the way but if he can reach even 80% of his potential we will have an absolute star on our hands.
  14. Perhaps similar set up to the move which saw Alexander Sorloth go from Crystal Palace to RB Liepzig via a 2 year loan agreement with Trabzonspor. The buying club (us) pays a fee to the club which own the player and they give part of that fee to the loan club. This was covered on ‘The Price of Football’ podcast last week which I would highly recommend to anyone interested in the financial side of football.
  15. Would be very happy with this. A player with his level of versatility could be really useful with such a crowded fixture list and European involvement this season. Good signs that Kristof is tweeting about this too, he is usually on the ball with Belgian news.
