Correct never wanted him and from what I have seen, that opinion is proving correct. It’s not about results, it’s about what I’m seeing and so far seeing nothing. I will of course hope for success, willingly support, I would be ecstatic if he proves me wrong. I just don’t see the importance of getting behind a manager on a forum that is designed to discuss opinions and Predictions especially, doing so against what I am actually thinking will happen. I don’t think it will have any bearing whatsoever on the outcome. I will however still cheer my heart out and cooper will not notice that I don’t think he is the right man for the job. 😜

Disagree completely. This is not about giving him a chance or results in pre season, it’s about what we are seeing and we know is coming and it’s bad. Its not really coopers fault, he’s just not the right fit. The people moaning about cooper now (myself included) are not doing so off the back of pre season. We are doing so because we disagreed with the appointment originally, we didn’t agree with it then and still don’t now. So far he has shown me nothing in any way whatsoever he is right for this job. Following the man blindly on a fan forum is not going to change it. He’s not right for this job and in 5 games times people that are not on board will be.

I said it when he came and I stick by it. Steve copper is the absolute pits. People will think it’s an over reaction and only pre season but if he got sacked today I would be ecstatic. If we lost 5 nil but I could see what he was trying do I would be much be ok, instead I see nothing at all, literally nothing. I see a manager who is already making excuses in pre season and has some how neutralised our 2 wingers and only creative threats. 5 games into the season, everyone will want him gone. I want it now. He was always the completely wrong choice for what we needed. (Sorry not very productive but rant over 😂)

Really strange because I am usually one to give a manager or a player time once they are here regardless of my opinion before they are confirmed. I know it’s pre season and people will think it’s mental but if he got sacked tonight I’d be over the moon. It’s pre season and he is already blaming the players and asking for fresh blood. He has literally taken 2 of our biggest attacking threats and found a way to completely neutralise them. There is zero plan and not even a glimpse of anything remotely tactically structured. Every will think this is an over reaction but 5 games in everyone will agree.

Shows where we are, developing Brighton’s youngsters. But that is the reality and we all knew that. To get out of where we are we need to stay in the prem first and foremost. I think this is a good loan, we obviously won’t have an option or anything but if it means we can buy another creative player then I’m all for it. He is pretty good I think, not really a risk. I would expect him to be cover for wingers and maybe 10? I also don’t think this impacts Alves as much as everyone thinks. Maybe he will go on loan or maybe if he good enough, he is good enough. I also think this would mean Alves can play with less pressure. I’m all for this, if he was a perm everyone would buzzing for this. I know it not ideal but it’s where we are at and if we got more loans like we might have a chance of staying up. If, (and it’s a a big if)we stay up this year we can build from these and start growing again.
