That's the thing, and I'd rather not see Justin and Faes, but the alternatives don't really correct the issue, and I can see Ruud wanting to get that back 4 working before he then makes changes.
-
Think he will go: Hermansen Justin Faes Vestegaard Kristiansen Ndidi. Skipp Buonanotte El Khannouss Mavididi Vardy Probably our best side on paper, but **** me he needs to get that back 4 organised quick.
-
People forgetting the Coady/Vestegaard performance at Bournemouth in cup last year. Think Ruud will go with JJ, Faes, Vesty, Kristiansen
-
Without 4 or 5 first teamers coming in January, Ruud doesn't stand a chance. Squad is so poor, serious questions have to be asked of the summer recruitment.....again.
-
Cynical to suggest they pulled the trigger on Cooper so that's the current Leicester news and not this dodgy af clustermess?
-
Any detailed tactical analysis of Ruud anywhere? From memory, pretty consistently a 4-2-3-1 man?
-
I'm a big Corberan fan, happy if it's him, but fear with Fatawu's injury we lack the wingers he would want. Tom Fellows in January please
-
Agree, at least one centre back, at least one wing back and a couple of attacking players.
-
I hope it's Potter. Feel there are better coaches but we've wanted him for 2 years now, it's time to make it happen. Think the players would respond really well to his level of detail and a counter attacking 3-4-3 suits our players. Hermansen Faes Vestegaard Okoli Justin Ndidi Winks Kristiansen Buonanotte Mavididi Vardy

Yes!! Timing wise odd, hoping we have someone lined up!

Southampton are truly awful, probably the worst in the leagues history.

What situations make Leicester perform better ?

Honestly, when the side isn't recognised externally for how good it is. Great Escape, PL win and CL run the following year all had a good side, that people in and around the club knew was very capable, and those outside the club had no idea. We loved seeing sides turn up thinking they would beat us only to be met with the absolute force of confidence at the club. I miss it. -
Slight overreaction, but only slight. Feel that people massively underplay the work Puel and Macia did too, and how that set Rodgers up for the success we had.
-
Surprise surprise, the deal that looked dodgy af, turned out to be shit. Incompetency part 369 by LCFC

****ed ain't we Hermansen Justin Faes Vestegaard Okoli Kristiansen Winks. Ndidi El Khannouss Edouard Mavididi -
We desperately need someone who can organise us defensively. It has to be Moyes for me. I didn't want him when we had the point deduction hanging over us, but he's perfect now. Think we are good enough going forward to finish 15th or above if we sorted out how leaky we are at the back.
-
Potter to West Ham once they inevitably get rid of Lopetegui. Wolves will bring in some random Portuguese journeyman. Could see us going in for Moyes, should we ever ship out Cooper this season
-
It would make me feel we had a good enough side to stay up despite of Cooper, rather than because of Cooper and he should still go. I think there is a chance he stays all season and we stay up, but I think it's far greater if we changed him for anyone competent of tactically organising a team.
-
I'll happily change my mind on Cooper when we have a full match where we don't look horrific for a minimum of 30 minutes
-
Good post, I'm convinced we have way more than enough going forward to stay up (maybe another CF would be nice in January). Defensively we are awful and have been saved my Mads numerous times from embarrassment. I didn't want him in the summer, but I think Moyes would he perfect to organise us defensively and keep us up.
-
If a player had got suspended for being booked for dissent in a cup game with a big league match next up, he'd be getting pelters. Has bought the victim mentality Forest had about refs with him, and it's bloody annoying.
-
Switch it up a little. Ward Faes Coady Vestegaard McAteer Skipp El Khannouss Thomas BDCR Edouard Ayew
-
Roger Schmidt would absolutely get us cooking. High intensity, attacking front foot football. We'd still concede plenty yes, but I back our quality to see us get enough points to stay up.
