  1. Adams had close to bugger all to work with when we get promoted under him and we gave it a real go with some over-the-hill players. Deserved to go when he did though, we were dross the season after when we had a side decent enough to be play offs at least
  2. Great video that, forgot just how horrific the challenge (can't even call it that) was on him. After ref had already blown his whistle too. One day soon we will see this lad randomly appear on the teamsheet and it will be such a positive feeling for us all. He's got serious talent, and obvious mental strength. Pray that the worst of his injury is over.
  3. I agree, and weve seen Hermansen play some wonderful longer balls when teams have pushed up high on us. I just think we got it wrong against Sunderland and lost control. As a result, Enzo has probably overcomponsated and we don't use the long ball enough, but I'd prefer that to be the case for now than we end up a befuddled mess that don't know whether we should play long or short from goal kicks.
  4. I think it started off effective, Casadei was winning a few flickons. The problem was it meant it became our default move was to hit the ball far too often, and then yes, the quality wasn't there. I'd of much preferred to see us use it sparingly and still had a default of playing from the back and beating the press that way. I completely understand Enzo therefore deciding we aren't tactically clever enough to make those decisions in game on the pitch.
  5. Sevilla keen on a Wilf/Soumare double pivot. Dean Smith is eyeing up flights to Spain as we speak.
  6. I think he was right to be worried by the end of the Sunderland game. We went long far too often instead of being brave enough to play through their press and be on the front foot. Agree however with common opinion thag our 8s have been no where near as attacking as earlier in the season and this needs correcting
  7. Hermansen Ricardo Faes Coady Justin Hamza Wilf. KDH Fatawu. Mavididi Vardy Really hope Wilf, Yunus and Praet are all back for this one.
  8. Good profile for one of Enzo's 8's. Not overly familiar with him but good goal record this season and happy for us to fish in this pond.
  9. Ladislav Krejci from Sparta Prague
  10. 18 games in with Malaga. Won 16, drawn 2...so it's going well. Playing a really nice 4-2-3-1 with a Half Back & Segundo Volante double pivot.
  11. Daka has bagged for Zambia. A good leap and header
  12. I can't quite work out why Cameron would want to return to it all. Boredom being given as the reason but it's either to make far more connections than he currently has, or he's wanting a return to the top job. Wouldn't massively shock me if the next election is Starmer v Cameron.
  13. Does he? With who? Sunak will have alienated the right with this, alienated the red-wall and the only people who will be jumping for joy with this will be those who only ever vote Conservative anyway. I think operationally it's better than having Braverman in cabinet, but won't prove widely popular with the electorate when it comes to voting.
  14. Apologies for my ignorance, but how can Cameron be appointed Foreign Sec without being an MP?
  15. Big move to ship Braverman out. Going to cause a big rift in the right of the party but Rishi's only option is to try and drastically steer the Torys back to the centre. Reform will be rubbing their hands together...as will Labour
  16. Brilliant news about Cannon and Praet. A point tomorrow to get us through to the international break and hopefully a much fuller squad following that.
  17. When are we expecting Doyle back? Potentially think we can hold off until then
  18. This makes sense tbh, we don't need a real turnover in Jan. Best to save for the summer when we can attract better talent. A Brereton-Diaz loan with Daka leaving, and I'd possibly look at Sebastian Nanasi from Malmo as a more creative 8 and allow him the 6 months to settle in.
  19. They did make that point. That Leeds played the perfect way to beat us, at a level other teams in the championship wouldn't be able to and still only won 1-0
  20. Get him and Sydney Van Hooijdonk in till end of season, let Kelechi, Daka and Wanya go in Jan.
  21. I'm convinced that 90% of our problems against Leeds come from the lack of that underlapping run from the centre midfielders. Ndidi has been excellent at it and we missed him. This meant that we isolated our wingers, who in turn had the space to look great but not to really effect the match that much. It was in safe spaces for Leeds. It also led to hugely isolated centre forwards, who had to come deeper and deeper to get involved.
  22. Hermansen Hamza Faes Coady Justin Winks Ricardo KDH Fatawu Mavididi Iheanacho
  23. His tackle gets the plaudits (it was a beauty), but he's really improved on the ball this year. Hamza at RB with Ricardo playing as an 8 is a real option. Although I'd worry about the strain on Ricardo's body with that role.
  24. Go **** yourself
  25. We've just had no central presence at all. No threat from centre forward or central midfield.
