I'm talking about the summer, not concerned if we don't bring anyone in this Jan.
-
I'd be taking a serious look at Gabriel Sara from Norwich. They will probably have to cash in this summer and think he'd do a good job as an 8.
-
He's a cracking player but surely Man U would want assurances of playing time and I'd much rather we put that to Fatawu and McAteer to help their development .
-
Are you a robot?
-
As much as the club needs to protect itself, I'd be really disappointed if we didn't allow this. The guy deserves to be playing football, loan move to Stoke would do him well and I'd back him to impress enough so we can ask for a decent fee in the summer
-
Suits our profile of winger. Would be a really good option to play either wing as first back up to Mavididi and Fatawu. McAteer as further depth and then send Wanya out on loan.
-
Agree. That's a lovely price for a really good option as one of our 8s. Would happily let Praet go on the cheap if we could get into this race.
-
Massive that we have Fatawu available...quickly becoming convinced he's the best player in the league
-
Would love us to be in for Carvalho. Would we need to end a loan first to bring him in? Could actually see him as an option as 9 for us, although also playing the KDH role or out wide. Wonderful flexibility to him
-
I think we need 6 or 7. Centre back to replace Vesty. (I have no idea on who) Full back who can step into midfield (I still like Krejci at Sparta Prague for this) Midfielder who can also fill in for Winks as the 6 (Bernabe) Two attacking 8s (Lewis Ferguson and Matt O'Riley) Winger who can play either side (Nathan Tella) Centre Forward (Pavlidis from AZ)
-
Could see Thomas definitely being sent back, and maybe heading back out to Brendan in Glasgow
-
Nope ...I would however take Summerville.
-
David Brooks linked with Leeds and Saints. Think he'd do a great job as one of our 8s
-
It's a fair point for next season, I'm not convinced that Ndidi is offering a wealth of ball winning this year, and actually, with less creative responsibility I'd back KDH to do enough.
-
In most clips he seems to like the left hand channel of midfield....interesting that we've seen KDH move to the right for us lately...the two of them either side of Winks could be really tasty.
-
A few changes needed for this one, a few looked slightly off the pace when the tempo picked up 2nd half. Hermansen Justin Vestegaard Faes Ricardo Winks KDH Casadei Akgun Mavididi Cannon
-
Swear he only made one or two poor passes today. The guys unreal for this level.
-
Man of the match again today, just so composed, so switched on defensively.

Ipswich (A) 1 - 1 - Boxing Day - Post-Match Thread

We lost control in the 2nd half, and a draw is probably a fair result. It's not a bad result for us though, just really annoying unlucky way to miss out on the win. -
Really solid first half. Good on the ball, defended well. Impressed with Daka's link up, much improved this year. The front 3 have also worked really hard.
-
Slight concern over the lack of full back, and think Ipswich will target us down the wings. I do wonder if Coady starting means a deeper line and plan to hit them on the break? Great to see Doyle onto bench. Praet made of glass again? Or is the feeling that he's off early Jan?
-
Would be amazed if that's true. We need JJ to keep an eye on Wes Burns
-
Fatawu and Morgan Whittaker as RW options next year would be nice (Sorry Yunus)
-
The Leeds result makes this match beautiful. No pressure, but if we win I think we are pretty much promoted...which is ridiculous before new year
