Punishing my liver the rest of the day, thanks to this drivel

Frequent user, best method to recall time and place of previous pints. Appreciate the pubs and liquor stores over here who publish and update their menus on the app, too.

Caught the same thing in upstate NY, expecting clouds. Clear skies, then cold temps and darkness. Amazing experience.

Not able to watch, which usually guarantees a more favorable outcome. But I’m still hedging my bets… https://youtu.be/9BiaYBvcMAI?si=al1Iae5tKHScryOy

Best of luck to you and him! There’s never a comfortable nighttime visit to the vet. You and him will know what’s right, and no matter what, he’ll be sure to let you know what he needs, body language or otherwise.

The Barley Mow. Free houses are always welcome...the concept of sponsored pubs is still foreign to me (pun intended).

Doing the inverse of several people on this thread...flying over for 5 nights in London (Marylebone) in June. Loved the neighborhood when we visited last year for a Leicester match. Also found an historic independent pub around the corner. Any must-visit pubs/restaurants in the neighborhood?

Tree House is quite the operation, and their breweries are as impressive as their product. If you ever have a reason to be near Boston, it’s a must visit. Last time there, spent $200 there just on take home cans.

Nice time of year, cold, and the holiday crowds quiet down. Would suggest a Rangers or Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Not a cheap ticket, but an amazing venue. Bryant Park Winter Village is nice, and a theater show is always a good option. +1 for the Intrepid suggestions, and Ellis Island is a great bit of history, too. Too many great restaurants and breweries to count. Also, the main rail hub (NY Penn Station) is right beneath/across from Madison Square Garden. An hour to Philadelphia, plus numerous local trains around the area (Princeton is one of our favorite small towns with rail access). Also, for airports, you have 2 options- Newark (EWR) or JFK. Heathrow serves both, JFK has service to Manchester and Gatwick, Newark also flies to Edinburgh. Newark is considered easier for access to NYC, but in the event of snow, JFK is the safer bet.

Lot of good suggestions here already…what time of year, and for how long will you be visiting?

Foxes Hub – The Place To Watch Leicester City Live!

Is it just me, or is the international match pass not showing for this one? I can only see UK pass, or international pass for Middlesbrough? -
His brother on the Eagles is a legend. An undersized late round draft pick (Tom Brady was also drafted in the sixth round) who’s a six time All Pro center. That’s the highest honor you can have, short of League MVP. Instead of doing reality TV, he’s doing educational outreach in Philadelphia, and a future Hall of Famer. Travis gets more headlines, but Jason is loved by all. Who else would be bold enough to pull off the Zach Galifianakis outfit from the Hangover? FE79338F-BC15-46B0-A672-71A84771EDAA.webp

Big get for us, too bad it’s a traffic nightmare getting in and out of there for large events. 2014 Super Bowl and Wrestlemania 2019 were notable for their mass transit failures. Condolences to the corporate sponsors and shareholders who will deal with the gridlock!

Yup, it all depends on which team and how much time he is given to develop. Without knowing much about rugby, I'm sure he's looking at Jordan Mailata on the Philadelphia Eagles in terms of recency. Australian born, of Samoan descent, followed the same international development model. Drafted by the Eagles in 2018, didn't play for 2 years, and is now in the midst of a $64 million contract as the starting left tackle. It will take time, whether or not it even works.

Mavididi and Fatawu switch?

So many hikes and options in the summer. Red Rocks Amphitheater is a must, or catch a baseball game at Coors Field. Colorado Rockies tickets are very cheap compared to other MLB teams...depending on the opponent, 1 ticket can cost as a much as a beer. Also a +1 for Edgewater Public Market, huge food hall with shops and activities for kids/adults (we love American Axes, the hatchet throwing place in there). Also heard good things about FlyteCo Tower (the control tower of the old downtown Denver Airport) was converted to a center with mini golf, restaurant, bowling, and more for kids and adults.

If you're open to visiting the US again, would recommend Chicago, or a combination of Philadelphia and Washington DC. Great dining, events, history and sights in all of them, and the latter are a quick train ride from each other. Plenty of flights to all destinations, too. Ultimately depends on the time of year and weather...Chicago can be rough in the winter.

No such thing as too much at the start of a holiday weekend. An American-made Oat Cream IPA for me…delicious
