Bit like Jan "powderpuff" Koller then.
-
Better call Harry then.
-
This is our greatest problem , to get out of it without writing off millions of pounds seems almost impossible.
-
At the risk of repeating myself for the thousandth time , they will go when somebody offers them the same pay as us. These players have agents who will protect their pay to the death.
-
Absolutely nothing official from either club , just the twitter hacks. He would get more game time with us of course but if he struggles , he will be benched. Maybe the Reading fiasco is influencing his decision.
-
Nobody will pay him what we do - forget it.
-
If history says anything for the first seventy years , we barely won a match, for the last fifty , we have barely lost. They are not a bogey team.
-
The list of clubs that will pay Vestergaad, Souttar, Praet , Daka , Castagne etc.etc. the same as us is vanishingly small. Even if we accept nominal fees for them , few clubs will want to pay them at the risk of upsetting their own salary regimes.
-
Not unless somebody matches his pay. He gets far more than Thomas and Souttar. If you look , those on the highest salaries are unlikely to be sold , maybe loan deals.
-
Maybe , but I am not underestimating any team in this division. Too many on here call the opposition shit and end up mighty disappointed.
-
Recently , they keep beating us. Even after the 9-0 thrashing , they came to the King Power and wiped the floor with us. Only a mug would underestimate them.
-
Our three designated strikers , 12 goals last season. They would need to score at least 40 between them this season to get promotion. A very big jump indeed. We need another striker.
-
Hamer, Winks and KDH would be a formidable trio in the Championship and pretty effective in the PL. It would have to be a lot of money for Cov to let him go.
-
A Wednesday night in Florence or a Wednesday night in Rotherham. Surprisingly not everybody would choose the former.
-
That might break the Championship transfer record. We have the money ( apparently) but will we spend it?
-
Are we? On here perhaps. I can't see Chelsea instructing him where to go . It will depend on the financial terms and his decision.
-
His Mama probably still lives in Ravenna.
-
What , a beautiful city in Serie A. We have to offer him something special to beat that. Trouble is it can't be money.
-
I never ever judge a player on international form. I'm sure he has potential but Maddison he is not.
-
No assists for Reading and one goal. Don't get carried away , I would hate see another Tete feeding frenzy.
-
He's every bit as good as their expensive , clueless strikers. Oh, he cost a lot of money so he must be good , the stupid dogma of Chelsea.
-
As a good many on here have spent the last year kicking him , perhaps they will be glad to see him leave. Not a chance in hell Maresca would accept that of course , it would be his first major bust up with the club. He is easily PL standard as a player and a good many clubs would welcome him but he is not for sale.
-
Exactly , but Casadai will not just walk into the team and stay there no matter what , if he can't cut it , he will be out. Chelsea , I presume , know that. No guarantee of playing time can be offered. That applies to any loanees who come here.
-
There is nothing to suggest he is better than Praet - yet. As Dennis is likely to see out his last year , a couple of poor games and the youngster will be benched. We can carry no passengers. So many loanees end up on the bench as we have often found out. Reading had little quality so he got minutes but that is not guaranteed with us. If he is prepared to accept that , then fine , come and show us what you can do.
-
Once again it needs to said , an equal contract or they go nowhere. Thomas and Iverson may get that but Soumaré absolutely not , he stays along with Castagne, Vestergaard , Praet etc. etc. You cannot wish these players away , they are professionals.
