The chances of Cov selling us Hamer are vanishingly small.

As with a number of others , nobody at all is going to match his pay. We might loan him out if we put up 50% of his earnings , as we did with Perez. That will still be a tidy sum mind you.

Mahrez , Giggs and many others are overwhelmingly left footed. Its a common trend in left handed players. I' m sure in practice KDH uses his right foot but instinct takes over under pressure. It will improve but only gradually.

We are poor in the air both defensively and in attack. It will cost us goals at both ends this season. When you find a ball playing CB who can dominate in the air start thinking £50 million.

We have also had an ongoing history of being vulnerable at set pieces and corners and those super tankers Morgan and Huth were definitely not that.

The slagging off of individuals is bizarre, stupid and occasionally dead funny. I have to be council for the defense sometimes , I can't help myself. However this is a team sport and sometimes as a team , we deserve a kicking but singling out individuals is pointless crap.

Praet is not crap, nor is he great. He is a decent experienced player. We are in no position to demand great players. The problem is he is overpaid but we signed the contract. That is not his fault. He almost certainly will see out his last year and while he is here we should use him.

Shaded it just and the stats show that. They missed chances and were punished . We will still be vulnerable at set pieces and the opposition will play on that. Overall a decent start and we should get better.

People should just get it. KDH is a very good player , no , he is a class below Maddison but for us he remains a key player and the constant dud comments are very annoying. He was well below form last season as were most of the team. Blame the dead hand of Rodgers. If we are going to get out of this division , we need his brain and energy. He perhaps reads some of the clueless comments on here , I would advise him to ignore them.

Yes, he could improve considerably or flat line like so many Chelsea youngsters. He will give us an option up front and we certainly need that.

He is 20 , if he isn't in the Chelsea 25 then he isn't good enough for them. He should be good enough for us at the moment though , so give him a try. He played for a struggling team last season and was possibly dragged down by that. However if we make a decent start it may encourage him to achieve his best form. Don't expect Maddison mk2 though, he is nowhere near that class.

Coady is not going to go missing , he will give it his best shot I'm sure and he will motivate the team . I am hoping that Maresca sticks to the same two ( or three) as often as possible . We need continuity at the back.

In a way he is right , twelve months ago Coady and Winks would have gone down like a lead balloon on here. What we are hoping is that they will be effective at this level , we do not know that yet.

We can't but don't expect a player of Maddison's ability. He showed some decent stuff for Reading but looks a sound player rather than a game changer.
