  1. I'm quite enjoying being the underdogs again and the attention/plaudits being for Leeds and Ipswich, I think it's exactly what our squad needs. For so long we weren't interesting to talk about, so it seems like the media and fans are enjoying the other teams leading the way. I'm definitely ok with the focus being elsewhere when we have a game in hand to go top, we can focus on ourselves and hopefully get the job done.
  2. Donated - the most important one yet!
  3. You won’t be applauding getting automatically promoted? The absolute state of our fan base. You can be upset about a bad run and call it a bottle if you want, but choosing to forget about the incredible run that got us to top in the first place is just stupid.
  4. Tbf Leicester fans have spent a season telling Ipswich they’ve been lucky every time they win a game.
  5. Suicidal from Enzo this, no idea what he is seeing out there.
  6. Every time I watch Ipswich I’m just pissed off we could only manage 2 goals against them, they are horrible at the back.
  7. I was booing Rodgers at Brighton away and thought we were going down at Spurs. This season we have been the best team, you shitting your pants won’t change that.
  8. You what? That’s literally what we did midweek and did for the first quarter of the season.
  9. The order of games could really have an impact and we'll need a really good mentality to get through this. The Hull game is so important, get to the international break on top and have a mini reset. Will be interesting to see how Southampton react to the other 3 teams winning before they play tonight.
  10. Same, right bunch of weirdos. The Enzo comment has rattled them to an embarrassing level.
  11. Hadn't actually paid much attention to the teams Leeds have played on this 'incredible run' - They haven't played a good team since West Brom in December (which they lost) Perhaps Norwich? But even that was a 1-0. I'm seeing a lot of 2/3-0 predictions on their forum. No doubt they are capable of turning up against us, but we definitely shouldn't be considering ourselves underdogs here.
  12. I can see why people are nervy about this, but I'm definitely surprised at how many don't believe we could beat these. I think bottling top 4 twice the way we did has really had an impact on the fanbase, any other set of fans would have had the champagne open in December. As for Leeds, their best performance of the season was against us and let's not forget how tight that game was. It could have gone either way and probably should have been a draw, but it was a perfect away performance from them. Now they're at home, they will have to play differently which in my opinion will suit us. I can't wait for this game, rather than spending time worrying about losing we should be thinking, if we can avoid defeat here they absolutely won't be overtaking us. We've been above them all season for a reason, time to show we can do it in a big game.
  13. Since when could Cov fill an away end? Dunno what has happened to them since we last played but it might be an interesting rivalry if they can get more than 15,000 at home now. Most important thing was 3 points today and it’s gonna take time, but was definitely worried by how many times they cut our defence open today. If they had a decent striker we’re losing that by 2/3.
  14. No chance, we should always celebrate what we achieved like that.
  15. Blue, our first ever kit colour and yellow/orange like every third kit in the 90s and early 00s? I would hardly say ours are random choices. I think they are just modern takes on our classic colours tbf.
  16. What colour do we wear when we play away against teams in blue & white? We don’t have a traditional third colour, we’ve had red, green, black but mostly we had plenty of yellow/orange kits in the 90s, so this is hardly a leap from that. Looks great to me.
  17. Find me another manager with two recent promotions, you absolutely can’t underestimate that as an achievement, The Championship is a horrendous league to get out of. I don’t care what happened once he got to the Prem, it’s so vital we go up next season to get back on track.
  18. Villa don’t give a shit about us, why would they? The majority would have preferred Everton to go down. As for Smith, I’m really disappointed how little impact he made, admittedly they weren’t his players and there was only so much he could do. I just think at the very least, I was expecting him to be more obviously motivational. He doesn’t seem to be a manager fans or players could really get behind.
  19. Not sure I said I disagreed with that? There’s a difference in what we expect and what we get currently.
  20. Dunno if you’ve watched us recently try to pass to each other? The most alarming thing for me is the players arguing with each other constantly. They aren’t together at all, another reason we had to play like that.
  21. ... and that is great when your confidence isn't shot to pieces. We don't have the luxury of playing that, we are absolutely woeful and Smith has finally realised that. He got his tactics spot on in my opinion, if we had snatched it at the end he'd be a hero. That point could prove to be crucial, it's a shame we're in this position but I would never put our fate down to that result. Giving Southampton 6 points, losing to Bournemouth and not seeing off Everton are to blame for that.
  22. Everton fans can be decent and will make it hard for Bournemouth, but Goodison can also be one of the most toxic grounds in the league when things aren’t going well. If Bournemouth somehow score first, things will get very interesting 🙏
  23. I'm still clinging on for a miracle, but the last few games have been a real kick in the teeth. I hadn't lost hope that in one of these games something would click and give us a small chance but that Fulham game really proved that isn't gonna happen, these players don't give a sh*t. To not turn up for a game like that is completely unforgivable. I'm certain we're not getting anything from the next 2 games, it will be more about protecting goal difference. So I think it comes down to Chelsea v Forest this weekend, If Forest get anything from that game, it's over and i'll start thinking about some nice away days in the Championship. If they lose, they will almost certainly lose to Arsenal too. So then there will be something to play for on the last day at least. I'm not getting my hopes up for Everton, I think that Brighton game was huge for them. Yes they will probably lose this weekend, but with Wolves and Bournemouth to play you'd expect them to win one of those.
  24. We’re not gonna win another game against any team with anything to play for. We can’t cope with any sort of pressure on us, never seen such a weak team.
