Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
RowlattsFox replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm turning quite negative these days so my initial reaction is he'll be lucky to survive the rest of the season. He gets some leeway though by the home fans as he isn't Cooper. All about timing, and Ruud for some reason is flavour of the month. I worry it shows again the lack of foresight and creativity from the people in charge. However, he gets full support until he proves otherwise so welcome Ruud. Let's hope it works out. -
Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)

Baptism of fire for Bethell. Root will do anything not to bat there Interesting how Pope does with the gloves. Also Stokes down at 7, I know he's never been one who cares about his average but going to be tough if he's batting with the tail all the time. Could have some fun though. -
Like a lot on here, we are from an era where all we had was Radio Leicester and Neville Foulger was a huge part of that. RIP
-
A lot of people, myself included, have said that Ruud could be a disaster. What exactly would that look like? Good chance we go down anyway.

Set piece coach

Not fancying Ruud personally, just think it's got the makings of a disaster. I know nothing about his coaching style though to be fair. I think I could get behind Corberan, despite his struggles this season. Comes across as someone who can generate a bit of togetherness, and has a plan. Carrick has taken a little time but seems to have got Boro playing some good stuff.

Seeing as Enzo worked, we will probably go peps current number 2, Carlos Vicens
-
You read that and it almost sounds like Top knows what he's doing To fulfil his ambitions regarding style etc he needs a DOF who has a bit of stature.
-
Won't be enough I imagine but at Ipswich, and to a point, Southampton are going down having a bit of a go. 4 attackers on the pitch for Ipswich to start with.
-
Don't care about the players having a night out, why always Copenhagen by the way? But keep it low key and don't bring attention to yourself. Stuff like that ain't a great look.
-
RVN wouldn't even be in the conversation had he not been given a temp gig at Man Utd. Is beating us enough to justify him?
-
Liam delap comes across as proper big-headed ****.
-
Really disappointing when you think it was a stunning goal and then you see the deflection
-
Having watched us twice I'm sure Ruud will have no intention of wanting to manage us.
-
There it is. Not sure if serious but it's not a real search for a manager until someone genuinely believes MON should return
-
Because at least he will know how to do it properly And i think it's a bit harsh on Moyes.
-
I think to keep us up, someone has to come in and do a brilliant job. So it has to be someone who backs themselves and can get the best out of people. Not sure we really have the squad for Moyes. But he should be able to bring some clarity and organisational. I think RVN has got disaster all over it. I think we should be brave, and go for someone with huge potential, but I don't know who that is. Would like it to be someone we keep faith with to bring us back but we are probably too early in the season for that to happen. If we go down whoever takes over will be sacked.

People will have more knowledge than me and come up with lists of sexy names but for me it has to be a personality the fans can get behind. Leicester fans love that.
-
Normally I'd like a manager to be given longer but this one just felt so inevitable it may as well be now. But to do it one week after an international break is another example of the disorganisation and reactiveness of the whole setup. I think fans were always going to be his on his back, and were just waiting for a reason but he hasn't helped himself obviously. Need to get this right but if they don't go for Moyes I'd be surprised.
-
Pointless argument really and you'll never get an agreement. All have different characteristics that make them top players and depend on what you want from a striker. Rooney was the better all-round player though. A Rooney/Vardy partnership would've been a great watch.
-
Quite impressive first half and linked quite well with Soumare but none of the attackers were on his wavelength. Often good work from him then the ball went out to McAteer who has nothing one v one. Need get Bilal and Buonnatte linked up.
-
We could do a lot worse than trying to get him on loan in Jan. Will probably join a Everton or West Ham though and help nail our coffin.
-
I'd be happy to just fast forward to the end of the season. All a bit of a chore so far.
-
It was probably a foul, but he clearly wasn't injured. Soon as realised the foul wasn't given he should've been up and running back. May or May not have stopped the goal but its an awful footballer mentality.

Amazing how much of a difference Rodri makes they have noone to play in his role without him
