Sacking Alonso is a bit ridiculous but you felt it was likely. Such a tough for a relatively new manager, despite what he did for Leverkusen. Always felt it was a bit soon. Could see him waiting to see if Liverpool becomes available.

Real shame for Selby, thought he had a good chance here but that's snooker, hard to continue form into different tournaments. He missed a couple of simple pots and Goudong didn't miss.

Defending so lazy.

Development/Youth Squads 2025/2026 Thread - U18/U21

I think this whole conversation shows how desperate Leicester fans are for something to get behind. Evans has time on his side but we are desperate to chuck a 17 year old in. Can under 18s go out on loan? Because I'd like see Evans play some mens football, even if its national league. -
Knew he'd miss just with the way he grabbed the ball straight away.

Amazing how often Arsenal get the set piece delivery right. Looks so simple yet so effective.

I heard it live and thought where did that come from. It was like he's had a bet with some mates that he couldn't get the word in somewhere. -
Spurs reminiscent of us, just going through the motions and not putting the effort in. 3 attacking midfield are woeful.
-
He's injured, get him off. Clearly pretending to treat him so Tielemans can warm up. How do refs not know this.

Looks like they are getting ready for the pitch invasion -
If its medical why does he wait until the day before the tournament starts. More like he can't be arsed leaving Dubai.

Bradley did slide himself further onto the pitch, and i think that's what Martinelli saw. Was clearly injured though. -
Surely everyone can agree that shooting someone in the head has to be the last of all last resorts and should only be done for the worst of criminals? Not read the back story and briefly saw the video, and yes the woman appears to have got herself in a position where she doesn't need to be and put her own life in danger, and she shouldn't have drove off.. But shooting her in the head? In fact, shooting her at all is ridiculous unless I'm missing a major detail.

That's a ridiculous decision to give that as a foul. (Burnley v man utd game) -
Great stuff from Bethell, isn't his second innings average incredible? First innings average is abysmal mind. Not enough though, needed someone to go big with him. Ifs and buts but if Brook stayed in there may have been a chance. I think Stokes is almost a number 8 batsmen now.

Someone has to be bottom I guess so I'd be interested to see the actual numbers on how far behind we are. Many factors here - lack of fitness, lack of confidence, lack of motivation, shit manager and in certain players, a lack of capability.
-
Jakub Aluko Nelson Vestergaard Thomas Wanya Page Skipp Mavididi Thomas Daka Would like Evans to go up front but doubt he's going to jump ahead of Thomas, should be on the bench though. James and Fatawu only ones I'd be desperate not to risk, maybe Nelson and Jakub but I think they need to continue playing. Mavs needs to find some confidence from somewhere and may as well give Wanya a go.

Well that's that then for this match, probably be an innings defeat too. Not good enough all round. Unfortunately Potts showing why he's been last choice but as I said yesterday, it's hard to come in for one test when you've not bowled competitively.

Save on to the post apart, which was finger tips and could've still gone it, it was mainly straight forward saves but he did do his job and keep us in it.

Think Hamza was trying to get Marti sacked, looked annoyed when the winner went in too
