Hopefully Bilal isn't close enough to a move that he can't play in this. Dread to think who would play in the 10 role if he isn't. Difficult to predict a line up as we don't know who's fit or who is close to a move. Is Justin going to play? Only real selection dilemma is probably centre back, unfortunately I'd be surprised if Nelson gets the nod. Winks and Skipp in the middle as I don't want to see Soumare. Mavs, Fatawu, Bilal and Ayew front 4 should cause enough trouble. If Bilal doesn't play I'd play Ayew and Daka up front.

To be fair I think Michael Atherton is always against it, particularly the scheduling but he's clever enough to do it without being overly critical.

It's a shame the best test players from around the world can't really play in the county game anymore. Love hearing stories about some of the huge names that played in not just county cricket, but local leagues 30/40 years ago.

If you want to make this entertaining you need good batting tracks. This does not promote exciting cricket. With a hundred balls, maybe they should limit the amount of batsmen. Encourages players to play properly a bit more rather than full slog.

I understood the Overton pick really. Losing Archer and Carse meant they needed to find a bit of pace somewhere. He was shit though.

Problem we have with batters is they are all best suited for 4/5/6. Root is the best option to bat at 3 but he doesn't want to do it. Next in line might be James Rew but again he's a wicket keeping middle order player.

Agree with this in regards to the bowling,. It's great we can chase down big targets but wouldn't be great if we didn't have to. However there is the caveat that we don't have bowler friendly pitches. Reliable spinner who can at least bat 8 would be perfect.
