I wasn't having a go at your comment which was quite mild I thought. Rather I've seen lots of comments elsewhere online where there is a definite tendency to use the women as a way to complain about the men rather than just appreciate the success

Yes I think we should be happy what the women have achieved. I don't see why their success should be a reason to then criticise the men. For example if GB win a goal medal in the 1500m Olympics I don't look at the other sex equivalent and complain but enjoy the win

Wyn Davies former striker for Wales age 83. I remember him at Newcastle and fellow Welsh international Ron Davies at Southampton at around the same time. Ron died back in 2013.

Having watched the struggle within my own family I would have hoped there was more compassion than perhaps is obvious

On a slightly different slant. Never mind the question if 16 years should have the vote I read that a lot of people don't consider they are adult until their late 20s. Could part of this be because they didn't start full time work as previously most of us did at 16 so worked five years by 21 and alongside older people.
