  1. I don't expect the club to give regular updates on their intentions but the complete lack of anything whatsoever is surely damaging

  14. No he was from Hitchin, Herts. He was a brickie and worked all over north London as well as Herts and Beds. He was though an Arsenal fan. Apparently the photo was taken in Hitchin
  15. A little anecdote for you Gunner. Many years ago when I first met my wife we were looking at some old family photos. There was one of her dad and a couple of mates at some do. One of the chaps was David Court a regular Arsenal player from the 60s. Wife's dad impressed I recognised David and I was impressed he was rubbing shoulders with a pro footballer! Simple times.
  16. I used to work for a company that delivered to customers. It was an outfit with shall we say some rather well to do customers. Most were great but a few snobs as well. On occasion if the regular van was in for a service a hire van was used. More than once we had complaints if the hire van turned up even if on time with complete order. I had to use all my training to avoid telling the entitled twerp to foxtrot off
  17. Whoever told you is a grass
  18. Probably a cause of constipation
  19. Dig for Victory
  20. I think the blue carpet looks good
  21. Methinks thou dost protest too much
