The quality of this game..

Apart from a few decent away days no one enjoyed those days (04-08) did they? The football was horrendous and we didn’t have a pot to piss in. It was so just so horrible

He also scored against Italy, Germany, Spain and Holland, Turkey and Wales (when they were decent) in his short international team. Would have been great if had got more game time in the important matches

As well as the statue obviously

We should name the away end after him just to piss off every team every game going forward

I remember Steve Claridge scoring for Millwall in the first minute here and we all cheered and sang his name. Obviously Vardy has done loads more than Claridge did as well so can’t see it being any different

How have we not used these before? I don’t really ever remember him doing one

It’s been like that the minute fatawu was injured

I think he’s nowhere near good enough for the prem and always said he should never be playing over the past few season: but against the top teams and against players that are so much better he actually doesn’t disgrace himself

No matter how shit we are, no matter how disallusioned I am, I will always cheer an equaliser like I think we’re gonna go on to win / stay up / the goal actually mean something in grand scheme of things. In this case it doesn’t but it was good not to lose for once anyway

It’s a amazing how a goal can install a little bit of confidence
