  1. I agree that we'll have more chance against Man U than against Chelsea. Dream scenario is we get past Spurs in the semi, and Man U beat Chelsea in the other one...
  2. Nonsense. Loads of people care. I certainly do. If we're one of the clubs that are usually a bit too good for this division but not quite good enough for the top division I want us to be demonstrably the very best of the clubs that are usually a bit too good for this division but not quite good enough for the top division.
  3. Yes - as long as it's Spurs and not Man Utd!
  4. Burnley walked the league and still aren't good enough for the Premier League. We're always more likely than not to be scrapping it out. Every now and then we have a good spell, like a fair few clubs outside the greedy rich few. We're fortunate beyond belief that the last one produced both the season to end all seasons and the FA Cup. Better times will be back sometime - maybe sooner, maybe later, who knows? But to think continuing or repeating what we did recently was ever possible was very optimistic!
  5. That'll do tbh. If we get there I won't care how!
  6. Fingers crossed! Although I can't help thinking it's more likely 'Heavy semi-final defeat to Man City or Chelsea here we come!'
  7. Assuming there is a lady, she'd be under no obligation to tell anyone at the club anything about her personal life if she didn't want to. Whether or not anyone else has done anything wrong (which is presumably not certain at present), she certainly hasn't done anything wrong, except at most been a bit silly.
  8. To be fair to them, while we obviously hear it every week, your average family of Hull fans don't!
  9. We were garbage at Sunderland and won.
  10. If they were both fighting fit and full of beans I'd agree. As would Maresca, I imagine. But Vardy will be knackered from Tuesday and Wilf's easing back from a lengthy layoff...
  11. Yep. Like broken clocks. Eternal optimists are sometimes right too, in exactly the same way.
  12. Which is probably why they're rich.
  13. Maybe it's a men issue, not particularly an LCFC issue.
  14. It would be an abuse of his position as the team manager. It would be spectacularly unprofessional. He's twenty years older than most of them so it would be icky. It would call into question his ability to make disinterested decisions about who plays, or maybe even who the club signs. It would potentially be massively damaging to team spirit and morale. That's off the top of my head.
  15. You’d have hoped a lad of his age could have learned to count to triple digits at the very least. He's one of the brighter footballers. Most of them can barely count their own feet.
  16. Don't know about Chelsea, but Man City's is huge numbers of different charges, I believe, so is bound to take a while...
  17. Chelsea FC certainly were; dont know about now...
  18. The Gallows Pole is brilliant. Cuddy is on my to-read list already; I'll add your recommendation to that list!
  19. It's hardly as if we'd be guaranteed to stay up anyway! (Also we haven't even got promoted yet...)
  20. six of one half a dozen of the other surely
  21. I think it's more likely it'll depend on how much we broke rules by. If it turns out we did, of course.
  22. He'll have had a bit of experience of this at Man City. That's someone playing a dead bat and saying (without saying) "You can ask me about these news stories all you want but I ain't saying anything."
  23. KDH will be gone pretty quickly after the transfer window opens. Well at the least, one of you is wrong!
  24. That would be fantastic, all clubs should be run like that, but it doesn't seem very likely.
