Enjoy!!

That’s helpful He's probably not wrong though. Leeds is generally best avoided full stop, never mind pubs in Leeds, never mind pubs in Leeds on match days! Just give Leeds a wide berth is always good advice.
-
While I know what you mean, we did miss four really good chances v Middlesbrough - perhaps converting them is how we'll score!
-
We don't have to. That's the beauty of being a good bit ahead. Leeds have to get a result against us - (a) to have even the slightest chance of catching us and (b) because they're in a neck and neck battle with Southampton and Ipswich and need every point they can get. But even if we lose we're still well ahead and finishing top is totally in our own hands. Obvs it'd be better to win though!
-
Maybe. But if Fofana didn't behave in exactly the same way to come to us he wouldn't have been here in the first place, so it's not as if we didn't know what he was like...

For that job, nothing. But that's only that job. I know that not letting endless rejection grind you down is one of the hardest things in the world, but I hope you can manage it. Sounds like you're doing what you can to get a job you want - making sure you go for anything and everything that might suit. It'll come mate, it'll come. In the meantime, for what little it's worth, your contributions on here are extremely valuable, and highly valued. Not least by me because I discovered Kurzgesagt due to a post of yours, and Kurzgesagt is awesome. But I digress. TL:DR - Chin up!

How likely do you think it is that the speed with which everything will go completely tits up has been greatly underestimated?
-
That was only a big game for some of our fans; there's no way it felt like one to the team. Friday will though.

Oh, and if Richard III had got buried in York we'd be non-league now.

Ok, here's one: Milan Mandaric sold the club to King Power in August 2010. Venkys bought Blackburn Rovers in November 2010. Presumably Mandaric selling Leicester to them might not have been impossible. Do you think the next ten years might have been different if he had...?

Enzo should get you in to do the pre-match pep talk!
-
If Matty James hadn't knackered his knee, would we ever have signed Kante?
-
If you're right (I think you probably are) then no need to be too nervous. Even if this one goes wrong, if we're better than them overall we'll maintain or even increase our lead over them. Up the City!

Thanks! I'd forgotten his injury. (How could I forget "Walshie, wherever you may be, will you be fit when we beat Derby..." - one of my all time favourite songs...)
-
Imagine if Lee Chapman had found a house he liked in Oadby...
-
Yeah this is the obvious one. No guarantee that we’d have beaten Palace in the final, but incredible to think how different things could’ve been. There can't be many other moments that seemed like an utter disaster at the time but given what happened over the next few years it's actually a good thing it went like it did...

He went up front early that season I think, can't remember why, and it worked so well that he just became our centre forward. Didn't Ian Marshall start as a centre back as well?

Like Obi-Wan Kenobi.

For future reference, if you don't know, most canals are about three feet deep and of course have no current, so if one of your kids does fall in, don't panic, just hop in and get them out. It'll only be up to your waist. Much better than falling in most rivers. Unless you're at a lock - they're proper dangerous.

We prove we're the best by finishing top. If we finish top, we're the best. If we don't, we're not.

I'm not convinced we really are. We go looking for any and every mistake, and they all get blown up out of all proportion, and half the time nobody can agree anyway what the right decision was! And yes, of course refs sometimes make bad mistakes, of course they do, I'm not saying it never happens. Just like players and managers do. Probably every week some professional footballer somewhere misses an open goal - it doesn't mean the standard of football is bad, it just means that every single kick of a ball, or refereeing decision, is now liable to be seen and discussed around the world within minutes of it happening. Hundreds of open goals weren't missed, just like thousands of refereeing decisions were correct. -
Why? We've lost 5 out of 33, why are we going to lose 3 or more out of the last 13? Our record so far suggests we'll probably lose two at the most.

Perhaps she's from Hartlepool and got confused... -
That was one of the problems. The other was that we missed four good chances.

I wouldn't say anything about him, I only really watch Leicester games as a rule. It's never exactly the same thing though. One of the good things about football is that all situations are a little bit different. Look, I'm not saying refs don't make mistakes - they do. I'm just saying that on the whole they're nowhere near as rubbish as people make out, and that we need to be a bit more accepting of the fact that everybody makes mistakes sometimes.
