BEK started bright yet again. Need to make these spells count.

What message does it say to facundo and Okoli. If you are going to use the hairdryer trick be man enough to let them prove your wrong.

They won’t let him get that far surely. Today is last chance saloon. Even Our board aren’t that stupid 😳 -
Incompetent I’d say and overall just very sad. Still we have proven that it is possible, possibly. The big obstacle now is PSR.
-
This game should be seen as an opportunity given spurs current form. We won’t get many more.

Me too. I was just about to post that. If not the torches at this club will continue to bury their heads. -
Except edouard won’t head the ball and won’t run to get in position. Can skipp play up top???
-
The management has the system in place to ensure what happened with Ward should not happen. If the player is out of form, doesn’t fit the system or simply not good enough then the manager doesn’t put them on the team sheet. If the manager proves incompetent then the senior management get someone in who is better. Just as in any workplace it is too often the junior staff who pay the price of incompetence and lethargy of those at the top.
-
Our most expensive that’s for sure.
-
I didn’t say he was or wasn’t. But whilst we are comparing them we will lose the £12 m fee for him and I can see us losing just as much on skipps purchase price. That money could have been spent elsewhere on a player(s) who could have helped keep us up in the relegation battle. There is a lot in common here with regards to the impact of not buying wisely. The real blame lies with management.
-
I think that is mostly down to the numptys who picked him.
-
We need players who are resilient and have the character and leadership who can play under pressure. English with 100 EPL appearances - we have really had our pants pulled down here ‘only fools and horses ‘style. Our recruitment process and sign off really needs an over haul. It was starkly visible yesterday which players had the character for the fight and who weren’t. Taking bilal off at 1-0 when we were still in the game was just nonsense. Then bring on ‘Rodders’ Skipp.
-
He looks like my gormless and harmless twat of a neighbour but slightly less talented as a footballer. Why did we spunk £25 m on that ffs. £25m!
-
Soumare and bilal were our best players today. They both look like they care and are up for the fight. Kristianson looked up for it tonight. I wouldn’t bother with Skipp any more. Fumbling and bumbling round ont he periphery I don’t blame him for that it was RVN who bought him on.

Not that handsome or bright. -
Hospital pass from Skipp. He just isn’t good enough.
-
Bilal off for mcateer. wtf. Skipp on for winks. Almost as stupid. As clueless as cooper.
-
How can a player be left to drift into the box like that. I’ve defended Faes and Justin to the hilt but that shouldn’t happen. Got to put a challenge in at least.
-
Brilliant work again everyone.

It was pretty much the lineup I was expecting. We actually haven’t performed that badly the last couple of games. Just need a couple of chances to go in. Bit sad to see humanity’s rested but he kept running into blind avenues last game. Ayew is mart and holds the ball up well. I’d prefer facundo but can understand why. As for Vardy well he has defied the odds throughout his career. I’d rather have him on the end of chances than anyone else and his all round game has been good. Bit of luck and we can win this.
-
An interesting line up. Despite his relatively poor last couple of appearances I would still play winks ahead of skipp as he is a level above Ball retention and quick transitions through midfield will be key to make it work. In reality I think there may be two or maybe three changes but I think RVN won’t risk big changes when in many ways we performed well against palace. We let ourselves down at key moments either end of the pitch dues to individual errors. Tomorrow is not quite do or die but it’s getting closer with each game that passes and the players need to be on it and step up individually and collectively.

Most backwards passes and worst open goal miss. Most own goals
-
He has always had that in him. Seems to get a bit braver after being benched for a game or two then reverts back to type. He has it in him to be better than his current performances.

Birch admitted to hospital. Will miss this weeks home games.

Get well soon Birch. We could do with you out on the pitch at the moment. -
Nope. Well the signings at least. The return of mads riccardo and ndidi should give us a boost. We are not totally gone but even as the most optimistic fan I’d agree it is a tall order from now on. I’ve seen stranger things happen though so I won’t give up just yet.
