I actually feel a bit sorry for fatawu. Having been frozen out all season he doesn’t seem to be on the same wavelength a few times. Not surprisingly he seems to be trying too hard to impress.

Give him time to do the maximum damage. People also forget how much effort and tenacity he brings to it right flank when out of possession.

Plus he tries hard and can run quite quickly.

Bring in winks Riccardo and fatawu for skipp VK and BEK - move Justin to the left, Riccardo in the inverted role and play two wingers with Buonanotte ACM and we win this 3-1.

He is miles better than Ritter . It’s not just his goals and assists but out of possession he really puts it in and his holding play and transitions are great for such a young lad. For someone of his size and age he is also remarkably strong. Even if we pay a small fortune it would be a decent investment as he is only getting better. That said the transfer market isn’t as daft as it was a couple of years ago when Chelsea were going bonkers. Plenty of time to see how it pans out but I’ve seen enough.

Justin is being asked to play in an advanced role to provide attacking width down that right side and the down side is he is not in as good a position when the opposition attack down our right flank. I do think having fatawu on that side adds extra legs to cover this and Justin to hold deeper as well as a proper threat on both wings. Bringing in Riccardo in that role and trying Justin on the left should be considered too as he links up well on that side in the past and has more pace than VK. I do think VK has impressed more of late and I have warmed to him but issues need to be addressed as weaknesses are punished at this level. There is an issue but Justin isn’t totally to blame.

I think Abdul gets it for the way he put them totally on the back foot. Wouldn’t complain if buenonotte got it though. He is definitely our player of the season so far. It will take all the money we spent on skipp and el khannous plus next summer to keep him here but it will be worth it. He is the real deal at 19.

Yes. Thought winks passing control and tempo was noticeably an improvement. As for leaving out fatawu why has it taken this long when twenty thousand fans could all see that was the way to go. Great fight back though and two in the trot.
