It's a tough job being a football manager these days. Seems there's a total lack of respect for them. Take issues at Leicester with Vestagard and Winks refusing to stay one night a week and players being resistant to strength and conditioning. Quite pathetic when you think of what they are paid. Player power has taken over and managing them wouldn't be easy. Part of me wants Dyche in to sort them out, but would the spoilt brats just rebel even more. It's a fine line.

I was there at Wembley. Great day. Also went to Palace play off when Claridge shinned it in the last minute. Fantastic memories.

I have no doubt Russell was 1st choice for Leicester but has decided to go to Rangers hence the delay in everything. We are no an attractive proposition and we may well be scrapping the proverbial barrel again.

Why is everyone presuming Dyche would take the job? I don't think he would want it.

It's clear to me that as like last summer no one wants the job. They are keeping RvN hanging as obviously approached other potential managers and having no joy. I think thus could end up with RvN staying.

Nice of Maresca to use him in all the rounds then drop him for the final. Saw the interview with him after the game and thought he was a bit pissed off with being left out. Said he just wanted to play more games which he won't do at Chelsea. Maresca put him on as a token gesture with 10 mins left when game was won. Move on KDH you can do so much better than Chelsea.

Just seen the interview he had with Martin Tyler. You realise how grateful he was to Nigel Pearson for putting faith in him and signing him and persuading him to keep at it when he wanted to quit. Would love to see big Nige back at the King Power in some capacity. Fans clearly love him singing his name when he came up on the screen. Winning the Prem was as much to do with Nige as it was Ranieri.

If there is one word that sums this team up it's SLOW. Slow in the build up play, no pace in the side, no urgency, no movement.......just sloooow!

Skipp offers absolutely nothing. Doesn't look for space, no creativity and weak in the challenge

I'm 58 and have supported the Foxes for 50 odd years. I live down south now but my dad and grandad were born and bred in Leicester and I will always support them through thick and thin, long after this bunch of useless idiots have left the club. Hopefully harsh lessons have been learnt and we can move on. Still have to pinch myself about the 2015/16 champions season. Just incredible. No one can take that away.

Because of PSR issues clearly waiting to sack RVN when season finishes. Russell Martin all day long for me. Had no chance at Southampton in the Prem and knows the Championship.

We will be stuck with him next season on 80k a week. Could do with moving him on but with his injury record there will be no takers. Another cock up by the board giving players long contracts.

Guarantee he will be moving abroad to the MLS or Saudi. Not good enough for Premier league and the Championship can't afford his wages

I know he is the GOAT but just following the money I'm afraid. Relegation didn't hurt him enough to stay and take a pay cut to help Leicester back into the Premier league.

RVN clearly trying to manoeuvre things so he is sacked before the end of the season as payout will be more. I reckon he will go at the end of the season so as to cost the club less. Hence the phrase he was using about wasting time if decision not made until the end of the season. Bit of a cheap shot if you ask me. Get rid at end of season but start to tap up potential managers before.
