Not to say that having him there would not have made an impact. Some players just loved having him about (always noticed how BEK loved playing in the team with him).

I think injury would have caught up with him and he wouldn't have featured much. Think he is now out for the season.

That 'bit of class' has no output, and you notice that with Winks playing were end up reverting to Enzo ball style play. From playing out the back, to going backwards when attacking. The little passes do nothing, and he has an attitude problem to boot. But not a chance Winks should have been used in a 'no other option' debate. Notice on Saturday Skipp was dropped to accommodate Winks. Poor, poor management.

Err - bollocks. His output is marginally better than Page, and we loaned Aribo who we havent played. Lets not all get locked into this 'there is nothing else Rowett could have done' nonsense. Winks was properly frozen out before King brought him back, and should have stayed frozen.

Lets be real - he wasnt going to say anything else was he. Most of the players were purchased and paid as Premier League players. He's hardly going to sit in an interview and start saying they were overpaid chancers who barely meet Championship standards. He's a young lad. The worry for me is that we just approach this the same we did the Maresca season. If we still have some quality, L1 teams will park the bus and Enzo (Pep) ball will probably work in our favour. Yeah, but Brian Henry Barry-Freddie Mercury worked Winks, Vestergaard and Riccy too hard in training once. I think the training session was so long and intense that they all missed their session in the SPA and were late for the Steak dinner.
