  1. He's 15. I think its very unlikely he gets anything meaningful.
  2. I am sure sitting on the bench watching the first team die on their arse and arguing the sh*t with each other will be both the perfect development for him and give him all the reasons he needs to stay.
  3. Ah sh1t, its on Sunday. I thought it was Saturday. I usually use Sunday to mentally calm down.
  4. 3 of those started against West Ham. Would Mavi have really made any difference?
  5. Aaaaaaaaah f4ck!!! The positive part of me is seeping through. Please stop damn you.
  6. Maybe give it a bit more time before castigating another academy lad. ACL was assault and these were his first championship level games since recovering. We don’t know what he currently has and even if it’s related.
  7. Palace and Everton (and to a lesser degree West Ham) sorted their shit out. No way was Cooper's LCFC going on a points run like Palace and Everton. We were destined for bottom 3 no matter what, and thats before you consider the injuries that came our way.
  8. Its because he's not going anywhere.
  9. Presumably it costs a lot to run, so not maintaining over the next x years is going to matter quite a lot.
  10. He looks at his bank account and doesn’t care. Difference between fans who give a toss and those in the game making money.
  11. Facundo has been giving the ball away cheaply for a while. When he came on against Brentford there was some more energy, but he ran into brick walls. He was awful against West Ham, and that clearance that led to the first goal was mind boggling. Imagine if Daka had done that? Mavididi has been really bad for a while. I thought he had a spell earlier in the season where i looked like he was coming along, and arguably he changed the game against Brighton when he came on. Personally, i would start Facundo and Mavididi, or maybe Ayew over Mavididi. But im not going to pretend those starting 2 in the team are going to keep us up.
  12. Last season we waited for player autographs after one of the home games. Danny Ward came over, and after having his photo taken one of the kids said 'You are my favourite 3rd choice keeper'. Kids a legend.
  13. Well, Enzo was just seen as better. And this time we were right.
  14. Everton and Palace got their sh*t together. We would be in the same place, but maybe within a nibble of Wolves.
  15. I always said the target was 17th (and it still should be!) and this season was always going to be a stretch. We needed to rebuild that defence and even though he's had some good games get rid of Soumare etc. I find it so funny that after a few good games some fans were saying we should rebuild the team around Soumare. Such short memories. I never thought this was a top half team. I hated Cooperball, but had a hunch it could keep us up. Seems to me the management hierarchy felt we should have been mid table.
  16. I think its 'b'. I think everyone has given up, including the manager, but they don't have the balls to tell Top that. They are all waiting for Top to realise that his appointment was wrong.
  17. But surely with this option, you would still give it a go, especially as a few games ago there were 2 points in it.You wouldn't just give up and expect fans to keep paying to attend, or for the PL to keep paying to show your games on TV. If the club didn't think RVN was the future, then surely there is little point sticking to his ridgid system? Change it up, try different things, inject some youth. The only conclusion i can come to is that the Club want to keep this system Ruud is using, and are willing to give him a transfer window to find the players to do it.
  18. There is no evidence to suggest he is being Ignored. He's 15. He's playing in elder age groups and achieving all the time. There is a lot of hype about him, and he is certainly delivering. But the leap up to PL is a jump that's not been asked of him yet, both physically and mentally. When you consider his achievements so far, would you think it would have been better for him sat on the bench and getting a few minutes in a team that are on its arse? I'd love to see him play in the 1st team too, but i also have to be realistic how / when that is likely to happen and everybody should be doing what is best for his development, and not satisfying our curiosity. We've seen established players in foreign leagues take a season to adapt the physical demands of PL football. Also, from the rumours, it's unlikely his first team debut won't be in a Leicester blue shirt anyway, so if there are discussions going on the behind the scenes and the club know his future here is limited no matter what, then maybe politically they won't push him into the 1st team.
  19. Have Ayew / BDCR really done much wrong? They aren't the profile of players i want to see at the club but they've both scored important goals for us and their ages and limitation aren't their own faults. They should be used differently, but at the same time Mavadidi and Facundo's form has fallen off a cliff. The sensible thing to do would be to utilise them appropriately next season (unless there is an unlikely buyer), but don't extend their contracts. You would assume relegation clauses will definitely be in their contracts. Agree with Coady and would love to see a buyer for Vesty. We should get something for Wilf and surely someone will take Winks. Soumare im not sure as you would hope the positives from him this season would be enough for someone to take him. Vards isn't getting loaned out! He was on a 1 year deal. Its either have a another stab at the EPL or go do something else for him. I don't he wears out blue shirt next year. I can't see us making a profit on BEK, and would think a season in the Championship whipping great balls to Abdul would do him the world of good.
  20. If they do its a disgrace. The incidents together are significant, and penalties for the last incident were both delayed (through appeal processes) and reduced. He has proven he has serious disciplinary issues, and needs the book thrown at him. Otherwise, what does he learn. You do have some serious behavioral issues at your club. Players seem very comfortable assaulting youth talent, each other, playing staff etc and its rotten from the ground up. Shame you've been able to hide behind some poor VAR issues.
  21. I really didn't like the Cooper era, but i remember posting a few times that regardless how horrible the football was, we very rarely seemed to be out of games. Maybe method to the madness? I remember thinking that he would very likely keep us up but we would have to strengthen and move on next season. We seemed to be able to get the odd draw to keep the points ticking along, and seemed to score most games. But, i hated going to games. I was very surprised when he was sacked as i felt the shortcomings of the players would have been well known throughout the whole club and this season would have been seen as 'stay up at all costs'. It seems Top still thought we could emulate Man City and be a top half team. I was excited when Ruud joined. Thought the West Ham game was good and the come back against Brighton felt like we had some fight in us. But my god, what has happened since? It feels something is seriously wrong everywhere. It feels like noone, from the manager, to the players, to the board, actually wants to win. It feels like a weird social experiment to see who out of all of us breaks first. It didn't feel like this under Cooper. I went to the West Ham game. It's the worst display i've seen from us. Barely running, no skill and little plan. I thought West Ham were pretty crap as well, but they were just gifted 2 goals and didnt have to try. The players and the manager barely acknowledged us being there. I don't think they are going to sack him. If they don't, I would actually like some info from the club on what is going on. The press leaks are painful to read, and come across as immature, and feel like they are coming from inside the club to discredit the players. Maybe some at the club think this is the best way of moving them on at the end of the season. If they are going to give Ruud the rebuild, the club need to be inventive in ways to give us reassurance that this decision makes sense. Because right now, it feels like noone is actually doing anything. We slept walked into the last relegation. That hasnt happened this time. Right now it feel like we are self harming and not looking for help.
  22. Because they aren't sacking him.
