What I can not understand is their lack of planning? How can they not have drawn up a list of candidates prior to sacking Cifeuntes? Their level of forward planning is horrendous. Surely our best bet is to get someone in until the end of the season to steady the ship and avoid relegation. Then get a technical director in and look for a manager in the summer. Although this would be a sensible and rational option so we won’t be even considering this.

Rather than getting them back in to manage, could we not hire them in some capacity to sort out the mess we're in. Give them control over hiring a new technical director, a new head of recruitment, Glover is clearly shite, and a new young ambitious manager. The great Pearson & O'neil rest.
