  1. Worse than Cooper, just better dressed and more handsome. Won a lot of people over just based on that - could probably write a thesis on that honestly.
  2. cooper was shit and the players we signed for him were shit too (bilal excluded), but was he worse than this?
  3. i assume he hasn't been brought up to speed on everything yet or he's pony
  4. Ignoring for a second that that's insanely bad business from us (a given, at this point), that isn't how sell on clauses usually work. It'll be 25% of any money we earn over what we paid. They won't get that much unless we make 21m.
  5. Hah, you caught me out there - should probably pay more attention to the screen and not foxestalk
  6. Amad Diallo is really something off the bench, seems like he's always winning games at the death for them.
  7. Almost all of our rumours come from the other team or from journalists who are linked with the region we're buying/selling in.
  8. It's truly dire seeing all of our signings for half a decade laid out like that. Other than Fofana, Hermansen, El Khannous, Fatawu and maybe Castagne, none of these players have been consistently good enough and permanent transfers. That's generously 5/27 - add in Lookman and Buonanotte as good loans and Winks as a good signing for the Championship - about one in four players being good enough. Just not even close to good enough. And then from the misses - is there even one name on that list that we're going to get more money for than we paid? How many will we make our money back on? Cannon, maybe Okoli if we're lucky?
  9. I don't think it's a coincidence that the last three clubs he's been at are in the bottom 4 and full of shite players that they can't shift.
  10. https://getfootballnewsbene.com/club-brugge-agree-mutual-termination-with-former-leicester-city-attacker-who-cost-e9m-in-2021/ Kamal Sowah released by Brugge
  11. god loves a chancer wonder what percentage of these loan with options ever get turned into permanent transfers?
  12. I'm being serious when I say we need to sign players to help in the Championship before the EFL slaps an embargo on us when we go down. I don't think any signings are going to get us over the line now, the squad is just too shit in too many places.
  13. Their lineup.
  14. Not in the squad tonight. What a mistake this was - likely entirely agent driven, too.
  15. Saving the announcement in case we lose tonight and they need damage control imo
  16. Cheers Enzo, nice one
  17. Great sub from Slot
  18. I think we can get 15m for him easily, honestly. He's the sort of defender who is great when you have to do relatively little defending; a big fish in an easier league could easily make the best of him. Could see him succeed for an attacking, ball dominant side in the Netherlands/Turkey/Portugal or France quite easily.
  19. Sheff Utd should be planning with one eye on the prem - if they think he'd be a useful player there or even in a promotion push, I think we should really err towards keeping him
  20. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-player-clear-out-9859109 Never say never, eh?

    Whisky

Redbreast is such a great brand, never had one I didn't like.
  22. He was good for Villa back in the day, can't say I've seen much of him since he moved to Newcastle.
  23. I see something in him and he's contracted until 2028. Don't see the rush to shift him unless we are going to make 2-3x what we paid for him
  24. Can't help but feel the same. What's the ****ing point? Can't spend, can't develop your own players, just suck it up while the big boys roll in the TV money and make out like they're hard done by. If the FA were serious about keeping the football pyramid healthy, they'd have changed the way the youth system works to funnel all the talent to the same handful of clubs - who are usually the clubs who need it the least. You just have to hope your players fly under the radar and push on after they turn 18 at the moment.
