I think he is only a slightly below average goalkeeper, he just has absolutely no confidence after that 22/23 season. He shouldn’t be anywhere near playing for that reason. When the pressures off he is ok, but he can’t do it in the big leagues

Half of my point is what you’ve said there that he isn’t as hands on as we think. The other half is sort of what you’ve said which is that he does need to be accountable BUT it’s the whole ownership imo. maybe I’m missing something but I seriously don’t see why he gets all the blame over the others.

Having listened to some DoFs talk before, they are much less involved in the actual football than you might think, much more so appointing the right people. His biggest recent failure in that sense is Steve cooper…

I think Whelan is much more to blame than him but he’s the scapegoat. Proven by the fact that we sing about him every time we are behind. Not saying he’s the most likeable bloke just saying that no one actually knows why people dislike him. They just use him as a scapegoat because other people do

Everyone is complaining about him today. Can anyone tell me what he’s done wrong today? Don’t think people would be complaining if we had won and people certainly weren’t when we won the league under his leadership… don’t think he’s the issue in the executives

Was there today as a neutral- everyone left in the 80/85th minute. Most likely to avoid the queues at Stratford station but it’s sadly not just an us problem. It’s a wider football problem but we are particularly bad.

I travel 2 hrs for home games. Not once have I considered leaving early even at 3-0 down. It’s an alien concept to me. At no point did I think we would score 2 goals yesterday, but I stay because there’s always that chance

the other issue is that people do not keep chants going. We sing each chant once and that's it. We are allowed to repeat them...

There was a small effort to get some singing going, but small numbers joined in and most of them were rubbish chants such as the ‘we’ve got the ball’ chant
