I’ve said it before and will say it again, JJ is a myth. He was poor when first made the step up, had a very good 4/5 months but then got injured….has been bang average at best since.

I think he’s a CM playing on the wings. Has zero nous to beat a FB but has an engine on him. Comparisons to Sharky are borderline offensive, Sharky was an old fashioned winger who could whip in a cross etc.

I can’t remember if Cooper ever changed more than one player a during one change?!? He was the master of wasting his 5 subs.

Surely RVN just needs to find that Rutter video from last season when he was gobbing off about Leeds as a bit of motivation. I know Saturday/Sunday amateur football is a whole different kettle of fish but loved it when played against a player that was a bit of a douche.

To be fair, if he’s taken any criticism and used as motivation then that’s not a bad thing surely? He was being picked when well out of form last season (not his fault) but let’s face it, football fans are a fickle bunch and a few more performances like last night and he’ll feel the love, I’m sure.

Didn’t Burnley/Kompany show an interest the season before we signed him? He screams an Enzo sign off style signing. Look at this summers window, the manager clearly has a lot (could argue too much) influence over our signings..

Another stat worth noting - It’s also the most shots by a losing away team in a Premier League game since November 2010 (Chelsea, 32 vs Birmingham). Obviously buzzing with the result, not forgetting that Ruud has had what 48 hours with the group but a reminder for how easily our midfield (particularly first half) was played through. Still don’t overly like the Wilf/Bouba pairing, will be interesting when Winks is fit what Ruud does.

The excitement of Ruud coming in, surely is our biggest hope in getting something. A new manager bounce is Top’s last roll of the dice for us to stay up this season. On a side note, I genuinely can’t believe how many on here are including Bouba in their starting 11’s. As someone else posted, every game he has started, we’ve lost….he is not the answer and genuinely hope Winks is fit enough to feature.

Ok, so what if you highlight his U11’s defending for Jackson’s goal last week? He had 3/4 attempts to “deal with the situation” yet the arrogant twonk thought better of it. Football teams without elite players (which is clearly us) are successful when every player on that pitch leave 100% out there, Pipes rightfully called out Wout’s unfounded arrogance as one of his biggest issues.

Name a successful company inside or outside of sports that has remained successful/relevant without change at the top? Top sadly can’t sack himself so moving Rudkin on is a minimum after the already highlighted catalogue of amateur mistakes under his stewardship.

The love in for Bouba after his involvement in the Ipswich goal is bizarre if ask me. Shades of “Faes is decent” on his debut considering that we let in 6 that game.

Yet when I said our window was a 1/10 - I got shot down. Facundo is quality but have ZERO chance of signing him on a perm and ignored our obvious needs of FB’s and someone to burden the no. 9 with Vardy. Skipp was a 1/3 of our budget and being kept out by Bouba 🤮

How long do we have to leave it to make it look like we haven’t tapped someone else up?! If we haven’t done the above….Top and Rudkin need to get in the bin for negligence and not learning from two years ago.

Like Rodgers annoying little clap, him turning round to ask his coaching staff permission really grates on me….the least commanding football manager that I can remember in a long time.

A hard disagree from me. Southampton should have had a penalty when Ayew wrestled someone to the ground. Ipswich also had a very good penalty shout overlooked. We’ve had some very lucky decisions go our way.

I thought that today too! Faes was dreadful for Chelsea’s first and most of that was Wout being weak BUT Okoli was his CB partner that could see everything in front of him and didn’t even consider to try to either lump the ball/stop Jackson…Okoli is bang average IMO

How people described Cooper’s brand of football as pragmatic must be one of the biggest ever myths. He just sets up defensively without any defensive shape and a knack of conceding so many attempts at our goal. Honking manager.
