I’ve had this type of conversation so many times. The majority of us wanted Rohl not because it was from Sheffield Wednesday but because it was clear that he was on an upward trajectory. Marti is the definition of a muddling, lower end Championship manager at his peak.

Marti has such an annoying face, plus he is a rubbish manager. When I hate us, I find really petty things about the manager/players.

Top being there today, surely the only reason he’s stopped playing polo for a day.

Hard to compare as Marti‘s turned out so many honking performances, in the Championship!! I honestly think that Marti is worse, Ruud was hideous but Marti is another level of awful.

I’d have De Vries over Ayew any day. 1) He wasn’t on disgusting wages. 2) Spurs in the FA cup, as we were so bad at the time.

I know that the medical team/management would listen to the player, it’s impossible to do thorough checks during a game. But, in what world has a player ever pulled up (not through a knock) like JJ did and not consider that history suggests that it’s not going to ease up by “running it off”. I know it’s hindsight but him playing on for another 20 minutes won’t have helped.

Fair enough comment, I think Page has this ability that not many of our CM’s have. The ability to carry the ball and use his body in an intelligent manner. Not sure if he’ll be our CM for the next 10 years but oddly feel more confident in him making a positive difference right now over Monga.

I’ve seen this type of comment a few times now. I saw it completely different. We played well despite Ayew doing anything other than leading the line. Out of curiosity, what did he do “great” in the first half against Cov?

Got to give Marti props, I often say to my wife or kids that I’ve just witnessed the worst performance in years, just for him to serve up an even worse performance. It really irks me, Wrexham were rubbish, yet we had zero interest at taking the game to them.

Mainly on Marti but where has the exciting Monga gone? He looks devoid of ideas/confidence.

Look at the players body language, so passive and defeated. We have no faith in Marti, it looks like the players don’t either. This game gives me Chelsea vibes before Cooper got sacked.

I thought Ruud’s heinous record of not scoring was bad but the 22 games of not keeping a clean sheet (in a lower league), should be a sackable offence.
