Completely agree. I hate making comparisons to Enzo vs Martin football but you could see our attacking patterns of play under Enzo (from day one) but feel that Martin hasn’t got any of that across to the players yet, that’s my very minimal optimism. What I’d love to see cut out is the numerous lofted crosses to a 5ft nothing Reid and no-one else in the box. It all goes back to us not just ignoring a striker position over so many years but a sensible Ndidi replacement, if you have a mobile DM, you can overload more attacking positions. Yet, over recent years we’ve had Winks/Skipp/Soumare offer protection so that obviously hasn’t worked.

Football is simple yet a lot of modern day managers really over complicate it.
