Apologies, I had it on at the gym and remember fuming about how timid he sounded, so might have not heard it correctly. I think his “honesty” that some seem to love in his comments rile me up more than anything. I can’t find many positives from the start of his Leicester career. He talks as the team play, extremely passive.

Just heard his pre-match comments about “how challenging an away match is in the PL.” No wonder his teams travel so poorly, his mentality to away games is honking. Look to unsettle the home crowd, all home support is fickle and quickly get on players backs yet we set up to be so passive.

“Better team selection at Fulham and we’d have got a point”. JJ starting ahead of Ricky as a RB that isn’t expected to get up and down the pitch is a strange one for me.

For me it’s a really simple equation. Cooper’s appointment was underwhelming to the fan base, to expect that to be different to the players is madness. Going from a “bossy”, clearly focused and from a coaching perspective elite coach to Cooper with tactics closer to Sunday League football in comparison…..it’s pretty obvious that some players will yearn for the more detailed/enhanced coaching/tactics.

I sound like a broken record about Bouba. But Cooper not bombing him out of the squad and getting him training with the kids is beggars belief. How we have so many midfielders in our bloated squad is madness and another mark against Cooper/Rudkin for me.

Sad times but agreed. Hardly been on here during the international break as everything towards the club just feels so meh. Cooper’s “pragmatism” needs to turn into a much more positive approach from the first whistle….we’ve only looked to take it to the opposition when we’re already a goal down and less than a quarter of the game to go.

The fact he still makes the match day squad infuriates me most. Tell him that he’s not wanted, train with the kids do whatever to get the lazy oaf away from the squad. We need every player to fight for PL status and he exudes the opposite.

How about basing it on how well he negotiates deals (incomings and outgoings). Surely you can’t overlook the millions of pounds worth of assets that have walked away for free as “him doing his job”.

I haven’t been able to keep up with every page but are we hopeful that if we do get relegated that the EFL won’t hit us with a retrospective penalty?

I think there are crossed wires. I’ve never said about him thinking that way. I have however on numerous occasions called out his poor body language throughout a game. His body language, way he berates players after his error personally infuriates me.

I know you’ve mentioned this a couple of times lately about Wout. 1) Are you saying that you believe the media comments don’t have an element of truth - we haven’t had similar about any of our other players this window. 2) When you watch his body language after he berates a team mate or even worse his weak demeanor when we concede, you can’t comment on these as I haven’t asked him how he feels? Just trying to understand your logic.

Is he even that? He is often beaten for pace, Little Wes was fast, Cags was too. Faes is just quicker than the slow Vesty and Coady.

That sums up my views on Wout perfectly mate. I’d also add his body language when we concede. He’s a serial moaner and seems incapable of looking at his own game/flaws. I think he’s one of my least favourite players with Bouba yet he plays more than doesn’t.

I feel I watched some thing completely different in relation to Villa’s second. If he’s been brought in for his physicality then he can’t be so easily knocked away for Duran to have a free header - can’t take away from Duran he is text book with his movement and finish. I’m definitely in the camp he needs an experienced leader next to him which is not Faes.

Like many others have said 3 years was always madness considering that no one else appeared keen. He’s not the ball winning beast anymore, could say that ship sailed 3 years ago. If he’s not on reduced terms, any future financial punishments we receive are so well deserved.

This but I do think their second is awfully poor from him. He is grappling with Duran before he bounces off him too easily, I’m not Wout’s biggest fan but that was on Okoli - way too passive in that defending.

Why do people who disagree with others on here make personal comments? I mean it’s very easy to call the ones who can’t fault Top/Cooper, white knights - they won’t sleep with you lads BUT that’s too easy. Cooper’s disregard for Ricky and Stephy straight away make it hard for me to sympathize for him then throw in the turgid football and apparent obsession with PL experienced players makes it a pretty rough situation to defend.

That’s what I can’t understand myself….say it’s PSR reasons just delay his announcement or bring forward one of our dodgy commercial deals. As for Cooper, he needs to be braver….he sadly exudes a loser mentality for me and whilst the score lines haven’t been embarrassing the football on show for the majority has been.

Typing up their posts about how it’s OTT negative on here and that we should be grateful we’re not in league one. Ohhh, and it’s not poor Jon’s fault as we don’t know what happens behind closed doors 😉

Couldn’t agree more. Take the Iversen case as a prime example of our lack of cohesion between manager and Rudkin. He clearly wasn’t in Enzo’s plans and we turned down a bid for him….like you said, it would have been 100% profit and we had an impending PSR charge so surely know about the importance of that. I can’t see how anyone can defend that Rudkin overpays for players and has unrealistic values for our squad dross. The only “easy” outgoings are ones that you’d deem “our Crown Jewels”.

Szmodic’s didn’t go for anything close to £25m though.
